Every year the event is celebrated with great enthusiasm and many top artists like salim merchant and baadshah has performed at our college.
The placement is overall good the highest package is 50 lakh and the average placement is 9 lakh the internship are also good super dream offers are available here that are above 10 lakh .
Students are rewarded with scholarships for merit or if they come from backward classes.

Dislikes

No scholarship in this course, fees is moderate, college transportation is tough way and bit costly,it is middle of nowhere , campus jobs are not effective, only placements that are decent,no financial assistance
There is average placement opportunities in vit college many huge companies will come and do their respective placements but the companies offers only low package jobs because due the common problem in the world is recession
The fee you have to pay if you fail an exam is very high. its 6,000 per subject.

The First Year experience

Likes

The sceneries in the campus are amazing at places.
The Freedom to choose our own timetable for the semester
The food outlets in the Food Street and the taste

Dislikes

The specific timings to play is a bit irritating
There aren't much places to have fun to chill
The location of the campus , humid at times

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements after their 6th semester or 3rd year The companies visited were TCS, cognizant etc... The Highest Package was 30Lakhs and the average package is around 7lakhs. A good Percentage of students get placed every year with a decent package.

My VITAP Experience

Likes

We have so many clubs and events for extra curricular activities
We have option to select our faculty and exam dates
We have more free space to roam and express

Dislikes

It is far away from the city. The charges are high
The food is costlier in the canteens with less quantity
The assignments lab reports records are too worst

Placement Experience:

From 4th year like 7th semester the students are eligible. The college take the students to the VIT Vellore and there is a placement team the placement process happens there according to my knowledge the average package is 8 lpa and highest is 20lpa. The percentage of placement is 80.

Likes

I liked making friends and exploring with people of different culture and I am day scholars I have to travel 1hr+ everyday

Dislikes

Thing's I disliked are travelling due to high hostel fee I can't afford hostel stat so I have to travel 1hr+ to go to college

I choose this course because it was present trend and I like software there were plenty faculty according to the students the qualification of the faculty was good afn they are all senior grade professor's and exam's will be conducted as 2 mids and one sem if ywe follow classes it was quite easy to pass

The students become eligible for placements from the 7th semester. companies like cognizant,PayPal and more have visited our college. almost all students are getting placed. I wish to join a big MNC after my engineering.

Overview of VIT-AP

Likes

Firstly, the campus life is a huge applaud for the students.
Then the placement percentage which is simply superb.
The labs and the faculty interaction with the student

Dislikes

Infrastructure can be built in a more effective manner
Having a conjusted library makes difficult for students to study during examination
The construction that is going on in the campus disturbs the students

Placement Experience:

I'm not fully sure about the placemets. The top placement upto my knowledge ws 66lpa in the year 2022. Average placements are around 10-12lpa which is the best average for a college in Andhra. Almost 94% students were placed in 2023.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Basically I am very passionate about the computer science. So I wanted to do this course. Faculty are teaching well but they should improve their teaching. My review for their teaching is.. 3/5.I am not talking about the all faculty, some faculty are teaching nice. They completed PG. Coming to term exam they are so difficult.They occur once in a month. This university conduct three exam, they are cat 1,cat2 and fat.

Good life at VIT

Likes

Campus life and the events like vitopia and cultural events.
Clubs and club activities are so much fun and give a good experience.
Freedom to do things that we want to pursue.

Dislikes

Exam papers were a bit harder than expected.
The constructions at VITAP are always ongoing.
The crowd at VITAP university is too much.There are so many students at VITAP that it is very hard to get on a lift with convenience.

Placement Experience:

VIT AP university guarentees 100 percent placements for those who attended placement exam.The companies that are visiting for campus placements are very good companies.So far,the highest package offer was 64 LPA and average package is 8 LPA.

True aspects of a life in VIT AP UNIVERSITY

Likes

The friendly nature and the atmosphere and infrastructure of this campus
Faculty coordinators cooperation and explanation
Freedom and availability of evey thing to study

Dislikes

Nothing much but the fine they give for not wearing id card
Outings are applicable only till Friday they should atleast make it till Saturday again
When we go outing the limited time is 6hrs we need atleast from morning 9 to evening 6pm

I choosed this course because I did not had option to choose cse with my rank. The course is a bit though for me and the faculty members are pretty nice they treat us nice it's just the language barrier if you know English well you can be happy here. Every faculty is having their Own PHD for sure here and their knowledge is also pretty nice and exams were conducted every month

A good pleasant and difficult college

Likes

Gender equality, food, freedom and also academics with sports
We can be outside till 8:30 and can roam anywhere in campus expect the classroom and it'll be nice with friends
The curriculum for the courses will be too good for students

Dislikes

Tough examinations sometimes. Even the ai can't give answers
Some of the rod faculty who doesn't give marks even if we write answers
Fining for everything. Even for not being in the room while taking attendance we'll be fined of 3000

Placement Experience:

From 6th sem students will get internship opportunities and also many companies like Amazon, cognizant, TCS, Infosys will come here and almost 10k+ offers will be made.95% of people will be placed for sure. My plans will be pursuing mtech

A good collage with quality collage life

Likes

If your cgpa is 9+ there is no attendence criteria for you in the collage making it worth the hardwork you put.
The collage has people from all over India making it good social life experience
The teachers are good and are always willing to help if theh see you putting the effort.

Dislikes

The climate is bad here it is too warm and if you are not acclimatised to it it could make your life on the campus hard. It causes several problems with leaving you unwilling to attend college on the months of April - May.
The collage is far from city. Ie there is a 30 min drive to reach it making it a far from other facilities too.
No proper accommodation near college so if your are not a local you have to go for a hostel which is a tad bit expensive.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose the course on the basis of quality of education provided and the past placements record. The faculty to student ratio is 1:80 with faculty provided well guidance and support system and are ready to help. Exam schedule is released at the start of semester and is followed properly with 40% passing criteria and relative marking for cgpa
