I hope there was a chance to avail scholarship and also provide easy internships
Faculty who had a lot of knowledge and expertise regarding the field and they gave their best in classes and taught very well
The campus was very spacious and clean and the rooms were spacious and clean as well

Dislikes

Some of the staff members in offices or counters were very rude . If asked about any information they would ignore or reply in a very rude manner . That was the worst part.
The paper or tamplet glued on the wall during election times is bad
The process for registration and office purpose for this college is bit poor

I like the college atmosphere it's very organised and good.
I like our examination system it's organised
I also like college department teaching system

Dislikes

I very much dislike the canteen of our college
Also dislike staff room they are very rude
I also dislike the bathroom system it's not so clean

I have chosen Bs.C in computer science (Hons) because I love doing coding and now a days IT industries have a wider scope for jobs. The number of students in my department are 44 and teachers are 4. Our hod have a qualification of masters. Exams are taken in timely and very good experience of giving exams

Likes

Well Disciplined campus, good students take admission.
The college library as well as department small library.
The college is situated at a very good location.

Dislikes

Teaching staffs are not so good as expected
Teachers are well educated but they don't teach students nicely as expected
The teaching staffs attitude is like that don't want to share knowledge very lazy

I chose the course for the purpose of getting a Graduation degree. There are a total of 5 faculties in the department of Geology. In each semester 17, 9, and 13 students are there. Earlier there was a huge number of students in this course. The teaching method is not good, need to self-study a lot. Qualification of teachers is 3 teachers have a Ph.D. degree whereas two have masters degree only. Very fast the term exams were conducted. Easy to pass if you study well.

Likes

Don't have to attend regular classes
Some of the teachers are good and well behaved towards students
College campus is quite big and pretty much room available

Dislikes

Some teachers are not that well behaved.
Inside of the classrooms are quite dirty .
Toilets are not clean and very dirty they don't clean them at all.

I took the course because I thought it would be easy as geography but geology is quite difficult to understand, very deep knowledge and study are required to pass the exams. Faculty members are quite friendly. Exams are semester-wise.

Know about Gurucharan college

Likes

I liked the campus it ks quite big as compared to others colleges.
I like the hostel,most hygiene and provides best meal
I like the field of this college it huge and many sports can be played here

Dislikes

I don't like the college labs as they are not upto develop
I don't like the girls washroom as there is only one washroom and it is quite old that's why not so clean
I don't like the gathering during exams,they college has big area but buildings are made jumbled so space problems are there

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was interested in Earth and its process, There are 5 teachers and 2 non-teaching staff and every class is having students approx 30 each. Teachers are holding Master's degrees and Ph.D. in Geology and teach very well. In one semester there is 1end semester exam and 1 unit test and sometimes the class test is conducted by teachers if one attends all the classes regularly then it is quite easy to pass the exams.

I am pursuing a BSc in physics Hons. I chose this course as it has various fields in different departments. The faculty members are very supportive and helpful. The professors are very helpful. They always complete the syllabus in due time before the semester exams. The exams are not very difficult if you can prepare well.

Gurucharan College Pros and Cons

Placement Experience:

Actually to be honest a very less number of companies visit there. This is one of the major cons of the college. But some local companies visit there and the average package is 8 lakhs. My plan after pursuing the degree is to go for higher education.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course B.com Hons Was very interesting for me. The Commerce faculty was very nice. All the teachers are very friendly with the students. The teaching methods were nice. The college has Physics, Biology, and chemistry Labs for all science students.
