I hope there was a chance to avail scholarship and also provide easy internships
Faculty who had a lot of knowledge and expertise regarding the field and they gave their best in classes and taught very well
The campus was very spacious and clean and the rooms were spacious and clean as well

Dislikes

Some of the staff members in offices or counters were very rude . If asked about any information they would ignore or reply in a very rude manner . That was the worst part.
The paper or tamplet glued on the wall during election times is bad
The process for registration and office purpose for this college is bit poor

Choosing G.C College was a right decision.

Likes

The faculty members are quiet good and helpful
We had a lot of social events as a result we get to socialize more

Dislikes

They can work on the infrastructure, like increasing canteen facilities

Yes , college need many improvement , they should keep dustbins, they need to repair the college
There is nothing to engagement with campus life or quality of social interactions.
The teaching quality is good and there mentorship quality.

Nice and elegant the best college

Likes

The teachers are interactive and encouraging
I get to increase my curiosity and acquire more out of the box thinking
There is this big time immemorial library

Dislikes

The cleaniness, the size and conditions of the room
The counter staffs and non-teaching staffs
The size of the college is little bit small

Guru Charan College Student Review

Likes

Boys ratio is higher then girls ratio, campus life was good.
Social interaction was good, all are friendly students, everyone helps each other whenever needed
Infrastructures were good, some new buildings are on construction

Dislikes

I didn't like when our result is out and we have to take our marksheets from the counter because there is very less space and all the students around 300-400 comes there and no place to stand in summer days i feel like it's better not to come
In exam time all the students run to take better seat in the middle if you late you fail simple haha
Counter area should be improved and toilet bathroom is very bad eww so bad smell

I choose this course because I dont want to take physics chemistry maths because it's very hard subject for me, so i choose botany zoology anthropology still i have back paper, exam timing sometimes morning sometime evening.

Gurucharan College Silchar is a landmark of our town!!

Likes

Our college is one of the most attractive colleges of Silchar.
The landscapes around our college are so picturesque that we click new photos every single day.
Even though I am pursuing English Honours but our faculties uses local language to make us understand better.

Dislikes

College is yet to make a mark in placements as only 25-30% studnets only get placed.

Placement Experience:

Firstly the placementa aren't that great because 3 out of 10 are placed. Either some of us are hired by coaching centres or the private classes and some of us are offered receptionist jobs in elite hotels. Those are the kind of jobs which are currently presented to students of our stream.

GC college Best part of my life

Likes

I liked the college compound with proper sanitation and water facilities
College teaching staff and non teaching staff are very cooperative
Only A grade college in Barakvalley which i like the most

Dislikes

There is no proper cleanliness around the campus
The auditorium is small as per the requirement based on the students size
College is near the pwd road where there is a lot of noise which sometime create problem

Overall a good journey with some good and bad experiences

I liked the ambiance of the college
Teachers are very cooperative
Many teachers are active in NGO's

Dislikes

I didn't like the campus because it's too small
I didn't like the principal of the college
We donot even have a high-tech class and AC in our department and principal sir doesn't even provide us

At first, I applied for Zoology honours but my marks were insufficient to get a chance in that department. Afterwards, I got a chance in Botany honours. After my first class my POV changed for the subject and I felt it was quite interesting subject

The teachers are very interactive and pays attention to our queries
There is an one to one interaction between the teachers and students
Extra queries of students are also address outside of syllabus

Dislikes

The practical equipment are old and hence doesn't give accurate results
There is little or no practical classes.
Not all teacher provide good notes in class.

In honest response the curriculum is well designed but the time for the preparation is not sufficient and hence in every semester we have to skip some topics, which hampers our score in exams. Those students dependent on college for notes and all are the ones which suffer mainly

The aspects for which I took biotechnology is to work on research field To know something new as the love for the sub bio was huge Always This curriculum prepares for real world 4 star Frequency of exam time is bit poor semester exams r in 2 months interval which I think should be in 6 month interval.
