Likes

The atmosphere of the campus was very good.
The faculty members are very good and friendly with students.
I love the way teachers interact with students.

Dislikes

Parking fees is very high in our college.
The stationary which we buy in the campus is very expensive
The security guards keep yelling at us to wear the id card

Placement Experience:

From 5th students become eligible for campus placements. mckinsey, finance companies,mullenlowe groups etc. Highest package was 1 crore per annum. Offered by mckinsey. 80% of the students gets placement in the company. Some of them don't go just because they have family businesses. My plans are to set a own business.

Life of an hostelite in St. Joseph's University

Likes

Faculty's behaviour towards the students. Most of the faculties are very supportive to the students and support them through out the college life while there are exceptions too but most likely it's good and towards me all the faculty is good till now
No ragging. In our college I haven't seen a single ragging yet which makes this college safe for everyone
Cleanliness- the campus is very cleaned compared to other colleges.

Dislikes

Size of the campus is very small compared to other universities
Hostel curfew timings are very less according to other university hostels
Faculty is very strict in the matter of assignments deadline

The course curriculum is good, every student has to choose extra subject from different combinations each sem, basically known as open elective which makes us to learn ither course subjects which will overall increase my knowledge and skills. My honest review

Likes

Love the place as it is Bangaloore the climate is good
I love the course we don't have a banking concept of education we have problem posing education

Dislikes

The course fees is so much not everyone can afford it
Western style here everyone are into western style slowly they forget their culture

I rate a solid 8 out of 10 because as of now I am doing a pg course of Msw which simply means master of social work and here in st joseph I have got much opportunity to explore it here the teachers are friendly they are ready to solve any problem of us

Good and bad about my college

Likes

Infrastructure is very good and modern and big
There is a environment for people who want to study and take up there passion
Great facility like library canteen and parking

Dislikes

Teaching staff is not updated with new knowledge
Exams are based on just muging up answers
Does cost cutting in providing software and other study facilities

A great college under budget with good student life.

Likes

Fests at least one will be on every week and Great Student Life with great canteen facility
good classrooms with ac facility and charging points at each table
good and supportive teachers who help you through learning

Dislikes

pretty delayed placements and internships
you will see both good teaching faculty and total opposite
Nothing that bad as such could have been

Placement Experience:

the only flaw is the placements they start at the end of 5th sem which is too late to be honest its difficult to find companies they expect you to find interships for majour projects. as for placements in 2024 were few, CTC of 6Lakh per annum.

Likes

Food in differt d are wonderful and i always eat at canteen
Sports management in sju are excellent in every field
Different people from all over India and outside country came to study.

Dislikes

Class is to long aand it is very tiring
Examination mark are very stingy they dont give mark

Placement Experience:

There many placement opportunities in sju like from 400 plus companies everyone can get equal opportunity in many companies so the placement is very excellent. People are mostly also selected in many company.

All most all the facilities in the college loved withall.
Sports opportunity available over thier for students.
Every state festival that is celebrated in the college.

Dislikes

Non of them everything is perfect according to me.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose the course cause I was interested in psychology like to know more about human behavior. Coming to student Ratio is very high cause it's the best college for students as they get good placement the faculty and teaching skills are very good it's like a friendly relationship between students and teachers.

Production house of well mannered citizens

Likes

Library- We have got plenty varieties of novels and books which satisfies our wants
Environment- The environment of our college is more refreshing with so many plants.
Washrooms- We have got clean and hygienic washrooms.

Dislikes

Hostel- Few friends of mine who stays in hostel complain about the hostel food which have to get better.
Canteen- We have got limited food in the menue which everyone hates.
Placement- We are not getting placement in top mnc companies like Amazon, google and Microsoft.

From the final semester, one will get a campus placement in top companies like axis bank, Biocon, CNBC, clear trip, etc. In a batch, barely 60% of students will get placement. The average package offered is 6.50 lakh. As per my plan, I want to get placement in top companies and work until I get trained enough to open my own company.

University is fun

Likes

The sports facilities and events for students
Association activities and conferences making learning more fun.
The campus itself, green, with ample seating area to sit with our friends and have a nice time.

Dislikes

The college hostel giving us facilities and taking it away midway
Ethnocentrism of some ethnic groups and such groups getting more attention than other groups.

Placement Experience:

I have heard from seniors that the placement from college is pretty good, I do not know much as I am in the second year Placement options are received from the beginning of the fifth semester and many large companies come for placement.

I like the sports which is cheaper and effort was very well
