IIIT Pune Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

From what I know, placements are great. There are multiple seniors from 4th-year places in a few of the highest-paying companies in India. The top companies where students got placements are Gojek, Nutanix, Google, and ServiceNow. The average placement is around 13LPA and the highest placement is around 36LPA. Most importantly, the coming batches are increasingly better and the alumni base is only increasing so in the future the placement is only going to increase.

Students become eligible for the placement from the 7th semester. Since IIIT Pune is a new college so very few companies come here but some of them are dream companies of students. Companies : Microsoft, Nutanix, Jio, Rakuten, Gojek, Persistent etc. The highest package is 42 LPA. The average package is 8 LPA. Job offers were mainly related to software developer engineer.

WHEN WE BECOME ELIGIBLE FOR CAMPUS PLACEMENTS: From the 5th semester we are eligible for training and internships offers. Many can covert their internships into pre placement offer. One can be directly eligible for placement from 7th semester. COMPANIES VISITED(NO OFF OFFERS): Google(1), Nutanix(3), Gojek(3), Service Now(4), ZS Associates(5), Reliance Jio(2), Xebia(3), Finlq(6), O9 Solutions(9), Deloitte(4), National Instruments(3), Cimpress(2), TCS(1), MAQ Software(2). HIGHEST PACKAGE: 36 LPA AVERAGE PACKAGE: 12 LPA PLACEMENTS PERCENTAGE: 90% MY FUTURE PLANS: I want to do a job in IT sector with handsome salary.

Pune is an IT hub and is closer to my home town Nashik, plus the quality of life in a city like Pune is way superior. I was also selected in IIIT Nagpur but did not join as Pune city is far better than Nagpur in terms of resources. Thus I chose IIIT Pune.

4th-year students are eligible for campus placements. The highest package was 40 lakhs and the average package is somewhere 9-10 lakhs. 80% of students get their placements. My plan is to find a good job according to my skills and which I would love to do.

Placements are pretty good in this college, this year first batch passed out. There were forty students of which majority are placed on campus with the highest package of thirty lakhs per year. Average package is twelve lakhs per year. I am planning to do masters in business administration after degree.

The admission process is based on entrance and merit score. You need to secure atleast 60-70% marks in your higher secondary examination or any other equivalent examination from a recognized board in science stream also you need to appear in JEE mains and get a good rank there. The admission process will be followed by JOSAA counselling. The application mode is completely online.

In my Sophomore year, the internship rates were 100%, each and everyone was us was placed in a prestigious organisation. I was placed in Entuple Technologies and my stipend was 15000 per month. (I did the internship for a period of 2 months and was offered a PPO) The placement rate is great as well, the stipend hikes up to 22 Lakh p.a.

Like the other good colleges such as IITs/NITs, the admissions to IIITs are also granted on the grounds of JEE Mains ranks. The cutoff are pretty high and so a student aspiring for the college must work hard. The cutoff goes around 30000 for CSE and 37000 for ECE. There are counselling rounds for the admission and the competition is really high.

College is overall good and with all the students it's awesome.
