The Christ trust and the program specialisation fascinated me to join this course at Christ University. The curriculum is excellent the other subjects offered and everything offered here.Subjects like- Holistic Education, Impactful Business Communication, Communication Skill Development, Professional Skill Development etc

Likes

Campus was good located in mountains with waterfalls and all
Environment, the atmosphere, was good because of mountains greenery and all
Placements were good. Good Number of companies came

Dislikes

Attendance criteria like 75% to 85% was like nightmare for every christie
Camus Store was expensive as compared to the market rate

Placement Experience:

campus placement is good. Companies like deloitte, TCS, greatlearning and many more came to the campus for hiring with good package. Almost every student who appeared for the placement got placed in various domains.

Likes

Teaching - the faculty is extremely adept with the current teaching methods
Library - Has a wide array of books with a great view
Transport - Free bus service from Lavasa to Pune on sunday

Dislikes

Far from city - It is a pretty isolated place and might get lonely
Food options are not that great and limited
The hospital is all the way in Pune and the college only has a basic medical system

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements in the last semester but we have one month internships in every semester making it easy for us to get placed, almost 60% of the students get placed in big firms. The internship committee too provides with internship opportunities

Place Lavasa is itself a boring not much to do
Costing of fines is too much and fine for small small things

Course Curriculum Overview:

Bca course of christ university is one best in india and compared to others colleges curriculum its very better , from very first semester you occupied with project and activities which later help you in getting job and level of curriculum is moderate and talking about teaching methods its mostly practical and teacher teachs through activities too , and in christ there one exam in end but you are able to chance to show your skills through cia and also in end thier is exam and talkign about difficulty of the exam is easy

Cheist university more like a corporate prison

Likes

The ethics here are really upto the mark
This college teaches us about the corporate life in college itself by making a corporate environment in the college itself
A proper dresscode unlike other colleges. We always need to be wearing a shirt pant at the hours of college

Dislikes

The management here treats the children very poorly in case a student needs help
The college is way too uptight and strict in regards to a college teaching above 18 years of age students

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is really great like we recently got to study the taxation law which as a business management student is an important thing to study and the planning for the course curriculum is really great with subjects that are helpful for our future growth

Fabulous christ college

Likes

Staff is good teachers are teaching well events are been done
Events are great and sports are great as well
Ground is large and the education system is good

Dislikes

Parking is very long and we are not able to lec even after reaching on time
Due to half of the fees payment writing exams are not alloted
Only the malyalam students are treated well Partiality has been done

Course Curriculum Overview:

There should be conducted. Ore events for everyone. There shoud me many other teaching methods. That may be benificial for the growth of the students. They must be taking the studetns for the picnic. Exams are conducted well and the timings are also good

The Infrastructure of my college is to be considered good
The Management is also very good with the support staff
The Faculties including the teachers and support staff is good

Dislikes

The Eligibility criteria for Addmission in any specific course
The location of the college is not that much suitable
The Placement is not considered good to me

As I have chosed ECONOMICS, because of my keen interest in economics and the international market. The economics helps in real life if we have a good passion in the studies. The analytical side of economics provide a wide range of carrier options.

Honest review of my college, consists the positives and negatives

Infrastructure is good, they've recently built a library that is awesome, though the ground is small still they've madeit in such a way that it can be utilised for other things also.
My college is digitalized, I won't say completely but to a great extent it is digitalized. Like the whole attendance system is completely digital. They provide wifi for computer science students,
The college is really strict, like you have to be in class during lecture hours, and every teacher has to take lectures, they can't skip them. You have to wear a uniform on Monday, Friday and Saturday. Rest of the days are for formal wear.

Dislikes

In some areas the strictness is too much like if you don't have enough attendance you are not allowed to appear for exams.
The college focusses more on marks than on the overall development. Like at the end of the year you will just be spending time writing assignments.
The college interferes more in the decisions taken by the students bodies, instead they should encourage students for developing their own thoughts.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well my college us affiliated to the savitribai phule pune University, so it follows the curriculum set by it. I feel the curriculum must be updated because we are still learning php that is not used in today's world.however my college has implemented the new education policy so the whole curriculum is changed and updated

What i liked was the environment outside the college honestly.

I dislike their management system and their authority and power over us students life inside the campus as well as outside which just sucks
Faculty only cares about their salary so yeah

The course bba was not bad in general. The subjects were appropriate. Although there really should have been more visits type things In lavasa students are just lonely because of the place itself......

Life in Christ Lavasa

Likes

The ambience is very peaceful and one can concentrate well
College infrastructure is top notch with all available facilities
Bond between students due to post college hour activities

Dislikes

Lack of privacy in hostels provided by college as well as private hostels
Lack of transportation and forms of entertainment

The subjects in my curriculum were not only relevant but diverse as well. It was a blend of commerce and financial analysis using data driven tools. It made me feel less bored about studying Bcom as it was not conventionally about accounting and such but involved analysis of real time datas
