Course Curriculum Overview

4

Well my college us affiliated to the savitribai phule pune University, so it follows the curriculum set by it. I feel the curriculum must be updated because we are still learning php that is not used in today's world.however my college has implemented the new education policy so the whole curriculum is changed and updated

Fees and Financial Aid

According to the fee structure I received from my college rs 20200 is tuition fee, rs 4305 is lab fee, rs 1225 is examination fee, and rs 20170 is other fee. The fees has increased this year because of the implementation of the new education policy. My college us a private college so there is no difference in fees for students for different caste. If you are taking admission you have to purchase a green admission for worth 500rs and for the upcoming years of graduation it is rs 200. My college does not provide any scholarship other than the scholarships given by government. And as a concession they will just allow you to pay fees in installment.

Campus Life

5

My college has many student bodies working together to organize existing and new events. Out of which the first will be Aaghaz, that is completely managed by students of student cultural association of our college. Then there is crescita that is organized completely by the student council for thejunior college students. Then there is chrysalis that is organized and managed by teachers only . Then we have chrysolite also known as the annual day of our college. Now these were the major events, there are few events conducted within departments like, udaan, technotsav, manifest, etc. these are held at different point of time in the year like Aaghaz is at the start of the academic year. Chrisalis is during admissions. Chrysolite is in between the year after the first semester exam. And other events at held in the mean time. Our college provide a awesome library consisting af decent amount of books and journals. My college provide decent facilities in terms of technological implementation like our classroom has a digital screen used for teaching and other purposes. Computer lab and electronics lab is not that great because a partif it consists of outdated hardware and software. We focus on the extra curricular activities alot. And we have various clubs like the cadence club, nature's club, college band, and the essentials aka the dance group that compete at University level. And other small clubs managed by students.

Admission

Well I only applied for my college and received the admission. I considered wadia college and sp college too. But comparatively my current college is more transport friendly and is less far from my house. If we consider the fees, my college has less fees and provides better education than the other colleges which supported my decision of taking admission here.

Per semester you have 1 or 2 unit tests that are counted as a part of your internals, each subject conducts 3 or 4 cia and one of them is a test, and then at the end before th semester exams they conduct tests on the overall portion, however it is dependent upon the subject teachers. And in the end the semester exams So overall 4 or 5 tests per semester

Placement Experience:

My college gives campus placement placement opportunities typically after 4th semester, which is the 2nd half of the 2nd year. As my college has a partnership with IBM so the standards of campus placement go right up as the placement depends on the curriculum performance of the student so can't really say much for this. If saying as a stalemate, getting a placement is basically confirmed if the student maintains his/her CGPA of 6-7, which shows the consistent of the student in their field.
