Which one is better for a B.Tech in CSE, JIS University or JIS College of Engineering?

JIS College of Engineering (JISCE) is the 2nd branch of the JIS group of institutions. JISCE is considered to be a better institution than JIS University (JISU), for their placement record, faculty, etc. Candidates must have 60% in PCM in their 10+2 qualifying examinations to be eligible for admission. They should also have a valid WBJEE score. JIS College of Engineering has a highly qualified faculty of over 20-25 members. They are better compared to JIS University. The only negative point is that the campus life is boring at JISU, and ragging is rampant as well.There are many colleges under the JIS group and if you compare JIS colleges with others in terms of faculty, placements, salary packages offered, JISCE gets the first position.

wanna have a great career ahead do visit JIS university.

my 4 year fees is 3lakhs 30 thousand and before each semester i have to pay approx 40 to 45 thousand around . Our university also helps the student to avail various state and central govt scholarships also our extracurricular charges are aproxx 500 per semester, 5000 rupees for extra certification courses beside the degre course, 1500 per semester xam fees.

Dislikes

Too much emphasis on attendence, minimun 75% is necessary to sit for end sem exams.

On an average every sem we need to give 35k and total fee is 3.8 lakh including scholarship. If a student have above 90% in boards he/she is eligible for scholarship. Moreover if the student is of that state he/she will get state scholarships

JIS IN MY EYES

Tuition fees almost 6 lakhs for computer science engineering and 3.5 lakhs for computer applications and etc. Swami Vivekananda Merit Cum Means Scholarship available for West Bengal Board's Students. Student Credit Card ( Education Loan ) is also available.

The college is decent

The fee is 150000. The fees are decent and all types of scholarships are available in this college and the students who have secured 70 percent above in HS, they will get an extra scholarship from the college itself. But the placements are not good.

The fee structure of our college is not very much more but comparatively affordable than other colleges and it is a sum of 581000 and according to the marks of the candidate scholarship is provided to the one.

Life in JIS University

Tuition fee doesn't increase as long as goverment doesn't issue a notice to do so. The complete cost of education is 5.7 lakhs in total including all the charges that are charged on campus. SVMCM is a scholarship issued by WB government which gives students 60k rupees yearly if their family income is less than 2.5 lakhs.

Review of my university

This time tution fees are increased from our batch. Total cost of my education is around six lac for the four year. I don't get any scholarship. I don't have taken any jon or role or responsibility in the university
