The student of 3 year is eligible for the placements.The different companies came there for hiring likr amazon, flipcart,microsoft and many more as in last year the highesht paackage was 35 lakh the student plaved in amazon

- Campus environment is very good, you can roam around in your free time.
- Faculty and people here are cooperative and friendly.
- Various fests and events held in this campus each year which keeps you charged.
Dislikes
- There's 75% attendance rule which you need to follow to appear in exams.
- Tuesday and Wednesday dress code to be followed which sometimes gives school vibes.
- Canteen food not up to the mark. They should improve quality and taste.
Placement Experience:
There are lots and lots of placement offers to students who opted for their tpp programme for which they charge a small fee, which is 3500 rs. from 7th semester, students get placement offers. Companies like autodesk, phonepe, cognizant, tcs, wipro... etc. visit campus and a big no.s of offers are made to students.
Highest package is 36 lpa and average is 6.6 lpa this year.
Around 80% of students get college placements.
I also got placed in a good company in mohali during my last semester.

- The faculties and college life is quiet good
- There are placement cells which provides help in giving you placement but you have to also put efforts from your side
- The infrastructure is quiet good and there are labs also
Dislikes
- Campus size is too short and you can easily cover the campus in less than 10 minutes
- There is restriction and students don't like it but it is also necessary
Placement Experience:
From 5th semester students become eligible for campus placement.
Arround 800+ companies are visiting and there are around 8500+ offers made.
The highest package was 44 lakhs made by the Microsoft and average package is arround 4 to 5 lakhs.
100% placement is there if a student has not Re in exam.
I want to sit in placement but there are chances that i will not opt placement as i will prepare for govt exam or getting a master's degree

- I like the greenery of the campus which makes it beautiful
- The platform provided to the students for the extra curricular things like sports cultural activities is immense
- The labs are the the important part of the practical learning in the engineering
Dislikes
- The timmings of the campus are 9:30 to 4:30 which is sometimes a burden to take such long classes
- The college campus is very far away from the city which makes it a difficult task to reach the college
Placement Experience:
6th semester is the semester when the hustle to get placed starts and the students start getting opportunities for internship and full-time opportunities where 600+ companies visit the campus with vast placement opportunities

Placement Experience:
From 6 semesters you can eligible for campus placement if you are applying for campus then you are eligible in 5 sem.
There are 800+ companies visiting for placement like Amazon, Google, Dell, Deloitte, cognizant, Microsoft, Birla group, TCS, infotech, Infosys and so many others companies. and 8500+ offers are made. The highest package is 45.4 LPA and the average package is 5-6 LPA and 8500+ were offered.
90-95% were placed and they getting offered placement.
I want placement.

Course Curriculum Overview:
I choose computer science and engineering because it is in very high demand onwards. Teachers are very kind and supportive they encourage all the students to do well in academics and life also. All teachers are highly qualified. There are 2 semesters in a year and we have to give exams 2 times a year.

College offers excellent placement opportunities to its students. Almost more than 600 companies come for placement every year. More than 8000 students get a jobs during placement drives. The average package is usually 8LPA. The highest package is 40.9 LPA. Many tech giants like GOOGLE, MICROSOFT, AMAZON, and WALMART come here for placements. If you have the courage, the college will provide you with the opportunity to get your life settled.

The placement of our college is nice. The highest package recorded was 35 LPA, and the average package is 4 LPA. The placement of CGC is organized in collaboration with CU. Maximum students of CGC get placed.

For Btech students are eligible for placements from the 6th semester. Companies name which visited for placements
Infosys, Amazon, Flipkart, Wipro and many more small companies. Last year we had around 70 % placements
The highest package was around 20 Lakhs and the average package was around 4-5 lakhs. These packages were for Btech degrees.
Around 70% of students got placed. I will be looking out for a good college placement

Placement Experience:
Students from our college can do internships in foreign countries. They launch programs every year for international internships at 17. The placements are good. The highest salary package was offered was 36 LP a for 20-21 and the average salary package offered every year is 7.8 lpa. More than 500 companies offer Placement in our college.

What is your review of CGC Jhanjeri?

My cousin studies at CGC Jhanjeri and it's a nice and average place to be. Following are some issues though, which may be burdensome:
- If you wish to go out during college hours then you will need to get an application signed by the CC and the HOD. The process itself will take up a lot of time.
- Girls can stay out up to 7 pm in summers and 6 pm in winters and you can step out to roam in the campus by 4:30 and you will have to return in two hours to avoid sending a call home.
- You should have at least a 75% attendance like most colleges, but it will be evaluated every 15 days. You will have to attend 75% of 15 days to avoid detention during the Monthly Sessional Tests of MSTs.
- The campus is verdant and hygienic and it has a playground, but it is surrounded by grasslands on all sides up to 5 Kms. It has all the basic amenities like stationery shops, sports ground, pool, games room, etc.
- Even transportation is an issue and autos and buses are the only way but quite time-consuming.
Hostel, mess food, cleanliness, room Sharing are not any issues at all. You will not have to worry about ragging too. You can go to Chandigarh for shopping after getting your passbook filled and signed by the Warden.
However, you cannot bunk because the campus is small, you can get discovered very easily and may face some good punishment. As for placements, it all depends upon research-based hard work and skills. Major companies do visit for recruitment.
