- I liked the supportive faculty of the college.
- There is very good security for hostlers and students.
Dislikes
- Actually, in this college nothing is to dislike .
- There is 9:30 to 4:30 classes but it's not permanent.
- For the hostelrs, In the campus we can't walk after 10 p.m.
Course Curriculum Overview:
In my course btech Cyber security there are very supportive faculty members,
They also tell us about our future in this course and they always clear our doubt in class,
There are also labs and library where you can study.

- The college life is just like awesome and enjoyable
- It offers lot of start-up program for the students so that they can setup their own business

- For appearing in examination you need 75% attendance
Placement Experience:
The students are eligible for the placement from the 6th semester and it's placement ratio is good. Like the highest placement is 45 lakhs per annum and the average placement is 7 Lakhs per annum. The percentage is 90%

- Our college infra is really very good, campus is really beautiful all the necessary labs are there.
- Our college also have E- CELL where you can share your idea be it anything business idea, startup idea. If they liked it they will help you with that providing and even funding too.
- Placement is decent in this college. You can get good placements if you work hard on your skills. Average package is around 5 LPA
Dislikes
- Campus is bit small compared to other top colleges, but still it is enough as all things are available
Placement Experience:
Placements are decent in our college average is around 5 LPA. Good amount of company visit our college. Highest was around 48 lpa if i'm not wrong average lies between 5 lpa. Talking about the placemnents percentage i have no idea in that case as im in my first year

- The college building has been well constructed
- The college campus is very nice, there is greenery all around

- Faculty of engineering college is not so goof
- I don't have any market etc. nearby. The nearest one is 5 km.
Placement Experience:
In my college the placement for engineering is good, if you do a degree then the placement is good, this time the highest package has gone up to 80 lakhs and the average is running at 7 lakhs. Placements are good

- Every block having lifts for reaching any floor
- Every floor having seperate washroom with clean environment
- Every floor having clean and chilled water to drink

- Some classes projector are not stable making difficult to understand
- Classes not having air conditioning making extreme hot in summers
- Computer not having any high end graphic card for doing heavy work like blender and all

- Teaching staff is pretty good.All teachers are minimum master or PhD level pass out

- Management is bit slower in paper like things which take students 2-3 rounds to them
- College is located in some rural area which is somewhat annoying

- There are no ragging cluture in our college. Our college is fully raging free. Also our college is very affordable for middle class students easily
- In our college the teacher student relation is also very good
- In our college there are many events and punjab actors and singers came
Dislikes
- The faculties are not much skilled as I expected
- The classroom doesn't have AC facilities so in hot summer days it's hard to study
- There are not many shops as much as there are students
Course Curriculum Overview:
This college is affordable for middle class but they didn't have much facilities there are no ac service in our college. I am in computer science but the computer is not too highly specialized to perform big data analysis

Placement Experience:
Placement was tpo good. Highest placement goes 45LPA and as i was in7th semester and my classmates got 36lpa offers and 28LPA too. So if we work hard for placement and get touch with placement cell dor mentorship so then you got better placement offer.

- Campus life is extremely beautiful here with plenty of Friends with diverse culture from different countries
- Faculty is highly qualified and educated they are very helpful in everything

- I didn't liked the class timings here because it's too long
- I didn't liked the mess and canteen cleanliness they are little unhygienic
- One poor thing in infrastructure is the wifi speed it's too less

I am pursuing b tech cse because I am an computer addict and I love to learn more about that mainly I chose for skill development the staff teaches and helps in particular area of skill development for placements it need just few improvement in course syllabus otherwise everything is fine the timings of exam is perfect and difficulty is also moderate to difficult preparing yourself for higher education

- The campus is not very vast so students can explore the campus easily
- The professor's in the college are good and very friendly
- The food quality of the hostels are very good and hostel are cleaned after every 2 days
Dislikes
- 75 percent attendance is mandatory if not you will not be allowed to sit in semester examination
- In campus there are very strict rules and treat them
- In campus there are very expensive items as food and stationary items
Placement Experience:
Cgc Jhanjeri provides company placement and the highest package of btech cse is 54 lpa the campus provides placement in colleges in some courses like btech, Aiml, cyber security, Bca, Mba, Bsc. But different companies have different eligibilities so the student should full fill that.

What is your review of CGC Jhanjeri?

My cousin studies at CGC Jhanjeri and it's a nice and average place to be. Following are some issues though, which may be burdensome:
- If you wish to go out during college hours then you will need to get an application signed by the CC and the HOD. The process itself will take up a lot of time.
- Girls can stay out up to 7 pm in summers and 6 pm in winters and you can step out to roam in the campus by 4:30 and you will have to return in two hours to avoid sending a call home.
- You should have at least a 75% attendance like most colleges, but it will be evaluated every 15 days. You will have to attend 75% of 15 days to avoid detention during the Monthly Sessional Tests of MSTs.
- The campus is verdant and hygienic and it has a playground, but it is surrounded by grasslands on all sides up to 5 Kms. It has all the basic amenities like stationery shops, sports ground, pool, games room, etc.
- Even transportation is an issue and autos and buses are the only way but quite time-consuming.
Hostel, mess food, cleanliness, room Sharing are not any issues at all. You will not have to worry about ragging too. You can go to Chandigarh for shopping after getting your passbook filled and signed by the Warden.
However, you cannot bunk because the campus is small, you can get discovered very easily and may face some good punishment. As for placements, it all depends upon research-based hard work and skills. Major companies do visit for recruitment.
