Highly education ,communication skill,very good teachers and staff members , post graduates teacher , polite good in study , neat and clean classroom and lecture halls seminar hall ,good computer systems
In bca my fee is around 5 lakh, there scholarships available for those students who score good marke in there 12th, by the good mark they can score good in university also.
I am a 1st year student. till know i have not experienced. but seeing from 1st year student till know the college is pretty good . i have liked the festival

Dislikes

There were no cut off process and no entrance exam, any stream of students can apply for bca which is my course, think i don't like about the admission process is we have to submit fee before samester start
Tution fee is bit consistent throughout the semester complete cost waa around 3 lakh no such scholarships were provided by the college there were no such employability roles were given from college
Some faculties are really arrogant and they don't have a helpful hand.

Graphic Era University gives us on campus placements like companies Infosys Wipro TCS. Because graphic Era provide a very good environment to develop our soft and tech skills to get placed in companies

Concrete analysis of Graphic Era Hill

Likes

In compare to other colleges Graphic Era placements are too good
Good infrastructure and hospitality ensures students to get an elite environment for study
No ragging and Various opportunities of participation in various events like mechathon , quiz competition and various seminars as well as gaming events makes this college a unique one.

Dislikes

Mostly focus on B.TECH CSE and average preference in Other academic sectors
Long duration of classes and academically more pressure
Lack of space for mechanical students and core companies come in less number

Placement Experience:

From 6th sem onwards students are eligible for placements. Companies visited are - TCS, Wipro, amazon, Capgemini, Infosys, American express, Uno Minda and many more. Highest package- 55 lakh and average package- 5lakh Around 80 percent My plan was to prepare for govt exams

i like the college campus infrastructure , very large and beautiful
college faculties are good , very supportive in nature
Coding culture , coding culture is very good , every day there is a challenge between students , who is more good at coding

Dislikes

i didn't like the college time table management , sometimes we have to attend classes from 8am to 6pm
some rude faculties are there and they are not polite.
Excessive Attendance rules , strict attendance policies and lack of flexibility during emergencies

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements in the 7th sem. Recently, Visa visited our college but didn’t make any offers. The highest package in 2024 was 84 LPA, while the average is around 4 LPA. Nearly 80% of students get placed across different companies. After my degree, I plan to build strong tech skills and aim for a good software developer role.

A conforting campus experience

Likes

my time at graphic era hill university has been confortable and academically enriching the campus is clean safe and well equipped with smart class rooms
btech curriculum is relevent to current industry needs with subjects such as core engineering fundamentals programming and lab work etc
active campus life with technical events ,clubs and workshop

Dislikes

administrative work and approvals can be slow
hostel and mess charges feel slightly high
limited late evening access feel slightly high

Course Curriculum Overview:

the btech curriculum is relevant with good balance of theory labs and project which influenced my decision to join it prepares students for internships and higher studies .adding more industry workshops and latest tools would help. exams are moderate with internal tests and one final each semester.

the campus environment is friendly and supportive
infrastructure is well maintained with spacious classrooms,decent labs good campus faciliteis
placement cell is active and helps students wiht internships and placements

Dislikes

fee is too much and scholarship criteria is not so good
placemenet oppurtunities fot average students can be limited
some courses need an updated curriculum,especially in tech fields

from 6th sem students become eleigible for campus placements. infosys,tcs,visa. highest pakage - 62 lpa avg package - 3.2 lpa 50percent studnent are able to secure placements. rest of them are not able . i want to get a placement offer from campus

my honest experience at graphic era hill university

the faculty at gehu is genuinely skilled and knowledgeable, they explain complex problem in easy way , lab instructor are also helpful
student came from different states so environment feel like diverse ,campus life here is engaging and comfortable , seniors are supportive and finding good friends is easy
infrastructure is modern and well maintained , smart class rooms

Dislikes

high fee structured , the overall fee is on higher side and multiple small charges
strict attendance rules , attendance policy feels very strict
crowded campus during peak season , during admissions and fests the campus become very crowded

Course Curriculum Overview:

i would rate the course curriculum at graphic era hill university as highly relevent and fairly comprehensive because it include all the essential subjects like data structures ,operating system , database management systems etc.the combinatiin of both practical abd theory subject can help student to gain real word knowledge and can also achieve technical skills,the curriculum could be improve by adding more hands on industry projects , live workshop and update elective options that focus on current technologies ,exam frequency is well structured with one mid semester and one end semester , the exams are moderately difficult .

GEHU is Greatest!

GEHU is specifically made for the students of Uttarakhand as we get scholarship and all which other states students don't.
Fests and events at our college are as good as anything.
Main reason why I love my college so much is also the seniors of our college.

Dislikes

It's the campus size as it's very small and accomodation of 5-6 branches in it makes it too crowded.

Oracle has been the biggest find of GEHU as before GEU, they hire students of our college. The reason is that we have given 20+ students to Oracle so far and they all have been doing well there. So almunus of our college has made our placements stronger by bringing the same companies to our campus for placements year after year.

My Incredible College

The campus. Its a really big campus with beautiful surroundings.
The teachers. The teachers here are amazing and they teach in a reallly nice manner.
The cafeterias. This one campus has many cafeterias and canteens and they are all very very affordable with proper hygiene and quality food.

Dislikes

Classes sometimes feel very suffocating. And with more than 50 students in one class and 3 made to sit on a single bench, its hard to sit and breathe.
The gaps between classes. After a lecture of 1 hour, there is no break and another lecture starts instantly

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this couse because it has all the facilities that I need to pursue my ambition of becoming an AI developer. The curriculum is great. With many real life applications and projects. Even being in the first year, I have many projects and its a great experience.

GEHU is great!!

GEHU is among the best private universities as it is specifically for the students of Uttarakhand as they get huge scholarships here.
College canteen at the basement is fully air-conditioned and is also better than a lot of cafes of Dehradun.
Our auditorium maybe small but very effective as it has the best lights and sound system.

Dislikes

Campus is quite small as one let of yours will step out as soon as you go out of the college.

Oracle, Infosys, Magics and many more like in all Including GEU & GEHU around 150 companies came. Not all the technology but even finance and construction companies as for Civil not many choices are there but luckily our core jobs were provided and I am happy it happened.

GEHU is a great college to be a part of!!

Our underground canteen is amazing as I am an outsider and I have never stepped out of campus for meals as I have always had it in the canteen itself.
There are so many affordable PGs and hostels around the college that one don't have to compulsarily stay at University hostels.
The entire area clement town is full of students and therefore we get an opportunity to live among the young crowd.

Dislikes

Campus is very small and apart from a basketball court, we don't have any sports facilities.

All the companies that comes to GEU comes to GEHU as we have a combined placement activity. However, placements cell are different for both the colleges but still companies are same like the TCS, Adobe and HCL among others. Our average package for CSE students is at 7 LPA a year.
