Ques: What documents do the students need to carry for verification, if selected for the counseling at RGUKT?

Ans: Candidates are required to carry 3 sets of the following, along with original documents.RGUKT CET statement of marksRGUKT Rank CardHall Ticket - 10th ClassResidence certificateCaste certificate, if applicableEWS certificate, if applicable

Ques: Is education at RGUKT free of cost?

Ans: All candidates have to pay mandatory fees like Application fee, Registration fee & refundable caution fees. Candidates belonging to SC/ST category have a slightly lesser amount, but are no exception to paying the above mentioned fees. The student has to create a bank account into which the Govt. may transfer the scholarship amount, based on the category. The university then records this amount against the fees of the candidate. Any due amount remaining apart from deductions from the scholarship; must be paid by the candidate. RGUKT also assists the students with setting up the bank account initially.

Ques: How is the B.Tech course curriculum at RGUKT?

Ans: The integrated B.Tech program consists of 2 years Pre-University course (PUC) & 4 year Engineering course. The PUC consists of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, English, Telugu and Information Technology. After the successful completion of PUC, the candidate can choose the desired BTech specialization out of the 7 available. The exams are conducted in Descriptive & Optional mode.

Ques: What are the criteria for Branch allocation at RGUKT?

Ans: The candidate is allotted the chosen branch based on merit, through an online process set up by RGUKT. Seats available for each branch are decided by the number of students passing the PUC course. The tentative numbers of seats under each branch are -Chemical Engineering - 60Civil Engineering 120 or 180Computer Science Engineering - 300Electronics and Communication Engineering - 300Mechanical Engineering - 180Metallurgical and Material Engineering - 60

Ques: What are the internship opportunities at RGUKT?

Ans: Students at RGUKT are encouraged to undertake Summer internships or Long-term internships, linked to the students educational goals. In-house or company internships can be done by the student for a minimum period of 6 weeks. Students can qualify for the internship offered after passing the tests & interviews. Some internships offer stipend too.

Ques: Does the campus of RGUKT have facilities for Physically challenged students?

Ans: Yes, about 3% of the total admission seats are reserved for the Physically challenged students. The campus infrastructure provides a comfortable atmosphere for such students as well. The institution buildings have facilities such as Lifts, ramps, walking aids, wheelchairs, aids for transportation from one building to another & specially designed toilets for physically handicapped students.

I really like that our college is providing free education to the skill people,inter and bachelor degree both provide with very low cost so that the poor people study very well without any burden,in our college so many poor people settle in good way
Education also very good,our faculty teaches very well

Wash rooms are not good they didn't modify or reconstruct

The main purpose I chose this college is that it is free of cost. Our faculty teaches us real-world examples so that we can understand. The teaching methods are very good, they will provide a laptop for us. They will conduct weekly exams and monthly exams.

Place of my university is very pleasant and having comfortable classes and hostels
All faculties are very good and they support like anything
A pleasant place for study and nice facilities available

Dislikes

In mess sometimes food is not good we face many problems
Some politics also running behind the college
No body will care about the students after academic hours

From engineering 3rd year students are eligible for campus placements.many companies arrived like IBM, INFOSYS,WIPRO,etc. nearly thousands of students placed in their companies. The highest package is 26lakh per annum. 75% of students getting placement

I like to study alone so ther eis library so I like very much and me and my friends study together to get best marks
Here there are many plants and trees which gives us fresh air.
Here in this college the infrastructure is very good and the planning of building this college very good

The food is not much better so we make Maggies
Here girls and boys talking together and going together I dislike
Yeah I dislike the way of teaching they teach like we are robots

I got into this university after my SSC. I got 10 GPA in my ssc so, I got admission directly.This IIITs are established by respected rajashekar reddy sir for the development of rural youth in 2008.Here PUC is available and after that we can directly join into btech without mcet.

Likes

Lovely environment the environment is really miserable.
Faculty are really very very good and teaching skills are excellent.
6 years of education were you found friends very closely and attachful.

Dislikes

Exams percentage it is little bit difficult for pass exams.
Holidays are very less were you visit your home after 3 months.
Strict senior are there they will teach you also but there are strict at the same time

Placement Experience:

After 5th semester.Highways ,Thoughtworks,There are 90% offers are made.Thoughtworks offer 11Lpa with good skills in DSA.Average is highways offer 4Lpa.85% students are placed.My plans is to be fit in a good software position

There are so good opportunities for poor students.
The environment was so good it is near hills.

Dislikes

Interaction of faculty with students is not so good.
The internet availability is not so good.
And mess food is not so good in taste and quality.

Because this is 6 year's integrated course with puc and b tech. For 80 members 1 faculty. M tech and PhD done faculty with good skills. For every month there were mids ,wats and sem for 6 months.

I love our college environment the most.
our college moto 'learning by doing', which means students will learn on their own with teachers assistence.
College provides laptop, Net, uniforms, beds and sports wear

Dislikes

Hostel wardens are sometimes impatient and rude
Monkey will be their in the campus with us
Food sometimes tastes average and below average

Placement Experience:

students of 3 rd year 2nd sem and 4th year students are eligible for placment civil students . Placements will be on domain of construction, transpotation and water resource engineering domains. Average package will be around 6 lakhs. Around 50% percentage of students wll be placed. I plan to write GATE exam and study further.
