Ques: What documents do the students need to carry for verification, if selected for the counseling at RGUKT?

Ans: Candidates are required to carry 3 sets of the following, along with original documents.RGUKT CET statement of marksRGUKT Rank CardHall Ticket - 10th ClassResidence certificateCaste certificate, if applicableEWS certificate, if applicable

Ques: Is education at RGUKT free of cost?

Ans: All candidates have to pay mandatory fees like Application fee, Registration fee & refundable caution fees. Candidates belonging to SC/ST category have a slightly lesser amount, but are no exception to paying the above mentioned fees. The student has to create a bank account into which the Govt. may transfer the scholarship amount, based on the category. The university then records this amount against the fees of the candidate. Any due amount remaining apart from deductions from the scholarship; must be paid by the candidate. RGUKT also assists the students with setting up the bank account initially.

Ques: How is the B.Tech course curriculum at RGUKT?

Ans: The integrated B.Tech program consists of 2 years Pre-University course (PUC) & 4 year Engineering course. The PUC consists of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, English, Telugu and Information Technology. After the successful completion of PUC, the candidate can choose the desired BTech specialization out of the 7 available. The exams are conducted in Descriptive & Optional mode.

Ques: What are the criteria for Branch allocation at RGUKT?

Ans: The candidate is allotted the chosen branch based on merit, through an online process set up by RGUKT. Seats available for each branch are decided by the number of students passing the PUC course. The tentative numbers of seats under each branch are -Chemical Engineering - 60Civil Engineering 120 or 180Computer Science Engineering - 300Electronics and Communication Engineering - 300Mechanical Engineering - 180Metallurgical and Material Engineering - 60

Ques: What are the internship opportunities at RGUKT?

Ans: Students at RGUKT are encouraged to undertake Summer internships or Long-term internships, linked to the students educational goals. In-house or company internships can be done by the student for a minimum period of 6 weeks. Students can qualify for the internship offered after passing the tests & interviews. Some internships offer stipend too.

Ques: Does the campus of RGUKT have facilities for Physically challenged students?

Ans: Yes, about 3% of the total admission seats are reserved for the Physically challenged students. The campus infrastructure provides a comfortable atmosphere for such students as well. The institution buildings have facilities such as Lifts, ramps, walking aids, wheelchairs, aids for transportation from one building to another & specially designed toilets for physically handicapped students.

They provide laptops for everyone and internet also fee is very less as it is government based University.
Faculty are very well educated and all lab facilities, a very huge campus
Campus have classrooms, hostel, bank, hospital, gym, playground, police station and so many.

Dislikes

They don't allow us to out due to security reasons, must need permissions.
More freedom to the students as it effects their mind not to focus.
Not disliked, but the hostel food is average

Placement Experience:

There are placements in our University, from 4th year starting itself we get placements. We got TCS, WIPRO, INFOSYS, SOME STARTUPS, INTEL, AMAZON INTERNSHIPS ETC. There are mostly 200+ tcs selected candidates and 100+ students in other . I gave interview to the tcs but due to internet problem i got rejected. Later got placed in accenture.

EDUCATION IN RGUKT

Likes

Quality of food was average it needs improve
There is more freedom then other colleges so we can education more freely
Most of the teachers are talented, some of language teacher are average

Dislikes

Some of teachera misbehaving with girls students
The duration of mid examinations are too fast before than
For these all student we have only three sports teachers

The student will get placement in the b.tech final year 1st sem and placement exam will be conducted which contains three rounds. the students need to be qualify in the three rounds and placement interviews are conducted

Good college for upcoming generation

The college with good environment and peacefull place
Coeducation in this college and one facultt is assigned for every 60 stundents
Girls are more than boys and more number of came from government schools

Dislikes

College far away from the city surrounded by hills
Some time you may saw jungle animals in this surroundings

After btech 5th semister you are eligible for the placements . We have placement cell in my college. They inform us when a company came for the recruitment. Morethan 50 + companies came every year to this college and offer more 4 lpa.

Likes

The collage appearance is very beautiful and the nature is so pleasant.a lot of trees ,flowers seems very beautiful
The faculty are nice they are very friendly with the students.
Academic wise the studies are good,they supply good books to the students with library

Dislikes

Cleanliness of the hostel is some what bad
Security don't take serious action when the student are misbehave
Finishing one sem in just 3 months giving less holidays

For 3rd year 2nd sem students become eligible for campus placements companies like vipro apple the highest package is 600000 per year for freshers and the least is 300000-400000. 45 percent of students are getting placements. My plans after getting degree is to do master in abroad

Our college has gorgeous nature scenery which are thickly surrounded by bushes and a person could feel peace by seeing this climate around. Our college is famous for YSR ghat which is a coffin of late Rajasekhar reddy, former chief minister of AP.
Life in this campus is quite appreciable. Food plays a major role in my campus feels like wonders of taste.
Coming to infrastructure it overall good enough to commodate with all facilities

Dislikes

Hostels are somewhat feels like conjusted.
Coordination in students might low regarding college fests
Classroom are left empty if nobody taken classes there

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have choosen metallurgy engineering in btech in our college. I have some interest towards chemistry since my schooling. So it might be the reason for me to choose this course. I am also interested in technology now a days.

Infrastructure. I like the most in our college is Infrastructure .Infrastructure is done by superb planning of civil engineer.the way they constructed hostel rooms and college class rooms was superb. The departments of our clg is very beautiful thing

The third thing that i like the most in the college if rgukt rkvalley is admission process. The admission process of rgukt rkvalley is very nice.i will be based on the school that the students studied preciously and also based on the marks they gain.

I don't like administration management in rgukt rkvalley campus.i fell like they are irresponsible and with disrespect for that positions. They may work very well for the students if they are interested and willingness to do.i hope they will cahnge .
The second thing that i does like in rgukt rk valley is getting permission to go out of the campus. There is no permission for girls to go out without parents.if will will ask for permission they will respond very rudely that we will not give you ..
The third thing that don't like in rgukt rkvalley campus is the behavior of wardens with students. The wardens will behave very rudely with students while the students are seeking permission to go out off campus with parents permission. I feel this i

There are some placement in Rajiv Gandhi university of knowledge technology but the annual salary is less as compared to other universities. 70 to 80 percentage of the people will get placements in this campus.my plan after the completion of graduation is to do business.
