The overall faculty of the fine arts department is satisfactorily good.
The seats are good in the class is a good strength projector good stuff there is people always helping each other.
To be honest amity university kolkata gives placement very well.

Dislikes

Food are not good and healthy sometime can cause food poisoning
Transportation could be problematic due to the college's location off the main route, leading delays and inconvenience for students commuting to and from campus.
The biggest con for the hostel student is they are not allowed to go out during weekdays. This becomes highly inconvenient in some situations and also during some emergency.

Truth from an amity student

Likes

The female bathrooms are very clean and usable
The teachers are very understanding and friendly
The fests and programs are very good and mostly organised by students which is very enriching

Dislikes

The staff can be kind of unhelpful and rude sometimes and they don't treat the parents right.
The lifts do not work and that's a huge problem
The classrooms are big but sometimes when the class is full the chairs feels less

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is perfect. There are five subjects for psychology as needed and the other three are enriching subjects like buisness communication, ethics, moral development and subjects like Indian knowledge system which makes us understand the history, philosophy and other important things about the indian culture. It might sounds very unnecessary and it did to a lot of us previously but now it feels very enriching.

Likes

I like the infrastructure over here , its really well developed.
The faculties over here are very helpfull and supporting.
The canteen and mess food over here is very hygienic and tastes good and there are lot of varieties.

Dislikes

Some subject are given not relevant to the course.
There are no cctv cameras in the classroom.
Some partiality is there as the club members tend to select their own friends.

Placement Experience:

From 6th semester you can apply for internships. The companies that have visited are amazon, flipkart, wipro, etc. Highest package is 8-9 lpa and average is 4-5 lpa. Percentage of students getting placements are 76%. After degree I will do M.Sc .

Honest review of amity university kolkata

Likes

The ratio of girls and boys are equalized.
The faculties are really helpful and friendly.
The canteen and mess food is also very affordable, tasty and hygienic. Also there are many varieties.

Dislikes

In my course there are some subjects included that are irrelevant to the course like history and stress management.
There is partiality to some extent in the clubs.
There are not many gaps during the exam time Between each subject exam.

The placements of my college is considerably nice as there were approx 76% campus placement last year. From your 6th semester only you are eligible for campus placement. The companies visited are amazon, flipkart, cognizant, TCS ,etc. Highest package is 8-9 lpa and average package is 5 lpa . percentage of students getting placement is 76% . My plans after getting this degree is to do m.sc in biotechnology and also prepare for government jobs side by side.

Amity the best university

Likes

Library are too good and very comfortable
Garden and lawns are very beautiful and wind blows there
Infrastructure is too good as it it the best in structure in whole kolkata

Dislikes

Canteen food are not too good and only provie veg food
75 percentages of attendance are mandatory
9 to 5 timing are too much hectic and struggle

Very nice faculty, very clean campus as well as canteens as there are 3 canteens. The library is big, peaceful and clean. Also the falculty helps you in like study oroblems as well as life problems. Very friendly nature. There number of events goin.
Campus is very big, including the hostel. Bith are clean and well maintained. There is parking area different for faculty and students or visitors. There are number of shops in front of the campus so if you don't waant to eat from campus canteens.

Placement Experience:

The placement of amity is excellent as we all know for which it is renowned. You have to be capable also not that everyone gets placements because most of them take studies lightly as they are spoon-fed everything. But if you are capable and determined then you can be assured that you'll get a good placement on campus.

The aspects of college that I was looking for as a freshers, I found in Amity University Kolkata.
The professors are all very friendly and helpful. They are experts in their own fields, their teaching methods are definately beneficiary and understandable. They support us in every way possible in case of our career development.
Amity University Kolkata has one of the best infrastructure, including the campus amenities, the laboratories are well equipped and plenty of room for professional development

Placement Experience:

Campus placements start on the final year. Before that students are encouraged towards internships, different exams and projects. There are many companies like Amazon, TCS, cognizant etc hire students each year. The highest package changes from year to year but the average is 1.5lpa

I like everything about the campus especially the washroom they have certain ethical values posters stock to the walls

It's not like I disliked anything... everything is really great .

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because I will get many opportunities after this degree. It's an upcoming and growing course that is on the way to taking a huge lead. About exams, they are difficult even the practicals because they include all the subjects like EVs law, technology, phy, chem, calculation etc.

The state of the art infrastructure and campus
The food available in the mess and CCD in the campus

Course Curriculum Overview:

There is plenty of faculty available for the students and all of them are knowledgeable and well-educated. Most of them are PhD holders and have relevant work experience in their fields. The teaching methods include class discussions and presentations. The exams are held twice during one semester and some subjects were relatively hard than others.

Placement Experience:

The college offers decent placements. The average package is 4-5 lakhs per annum and the highest goes up to 12 lakhs per annum. Many companies visit the campus and students are chosen on the basis of interviews. Around 80% of students get placements and the others go for further studies.

Life in Amity university, Kolkata is worth a try.

Placement Experience:

From the 4th semester, the college starts preparing students for campus placement and they become eligible in the 5th semester. Some of the companies that visit for campus placement are Amazon, Cognizant, Deloitte, KPMG, ITC, Indigo, Swiggy etc. The highest package was 28lac in the year 2020 offered by Amazon. 90% of the students get placed every year. I plan on doing either master's in economics or an MBA.

Amity University is a premiere institute of Kolkata established in 2015 offering undergraduate and postgraduate programs in various courses. The university can be reviewed on the following parameters:

FEES & SCHOLARSHIPS

The university provides an ample amount of scholarships at undergraduate and postgraduate level with different flexibilities. Merit scholarships are provided with 100% to 25% margin. Up till now 25000 scholarships have been granted to students. The fee structure is affordable as compared to other Amity colleges situated in India. For B.Tech, the fee is Rs. 7 lakh and Rs. 1.5 lakh for M.Sc.

PLACEMENTS

University’s Average package is Rs. 4 lakhs while Highest Package is Rs. 28 lakhs. The major recruiters are Amazon, BYJU’s, Federal Bank, Deloitte, and KPMG.

RESEARCH

Amity Kolkata specifically provides a broader range of research opportunities ranging from international research to national research. The institute has catered 500 books in different domains along with 6000 research publications.
