The cost of study is decent . So many scholarships like NSP and clg scholarships are given to students. Soany jobs are available in our campus . The fee hike policy is also decent and there is no much hike

The mid and sem exams are somewhat tough.

The fees structure of iitpkd is affordable. Opportunity of scholarship depends upon the caste and income . campus placements and jobs are very nice. Nsp,clg scholarships are available.the fee hike policy is also nice

Life at IIT Palakkad

Fee Structure And Facilities:

The total fee comes around 9,50,000 for eight semesters / four years. It includes the hostel and mess fees, and the tuition fees. It can cost much more if you're living off campus and also it limits the resources you can use in college. There are many scholarship options available and can be found on the college website. Short Overview of IIT Palakkad

The Fees structure consisting of Tuition fees and hostel fees. Tuition fees per semester will be around 1L while the hostel fees will be close to 26k. Also, there are a number of scholarships(MCM) and financial aids including fee wavier for economically weaker students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My first option was Computer Science but due to my rank I could not get CS branch. My second preference was Electrical because compared to the other branches my interests were aligned in this particular branch. The faculty here is well qualified with an all round experience in teaching in various other institutions and many of them also have a lot of experience in the industry. They share valuable information regarding their work, so that we also get some real world experience rather than just theory in notebooks. There are no issues regarding the faculty and unlike local colleges, the batch size will not be enormous here. There are hardly 60 students in the Electrical Engineering and we have Teaching Assistants for almost all the courses for additional help. Odd semester starts in July and lasts up to November and there is a semester break in the December. Even semester starts in January and lasts till April. And then there is a summer break for almost three months. Two tests and one end semester will be conducted in each semester and the difficulty level is average. If one is attentive in the class and takes notes, he could easily score a good grade in the exams.
