IIIT Lucknow - placement paradise

Likes

Course curriculum- only cs related courses are told
Peer group,senior - junior interaction- seniors are really helpful towards tehir juniors
on campus placement offers- backbone of this college

Dislikes

Campus is not that good, lacks sports facilities
College follows strict 75 percentage attendance
Fests are not that great here, you have to travel 10 km to go to main city

Placement Experience:

Students get placement offers in 7th and 8th sem . Many get ppo in good tech companies. In past years uber, flipkart, amazon,media.net etc have been our prominent recruiters. Placements of the college are improving every year, in the year 2023 the average package was about 30lpa and median of 26lpa.

Curriculum - the curriculum of IIIT L is too good as compared to NITs . I would say it's the best for a cs oriented college.
Senior Junior interaction - seniors are always there to help you out . There is a culture of tech parent and tech child which helps the students a lot .
Peer group - the peer group is really competitive, everyone is studying really hard which makes you also to push yourself to study

Dislikes

Campus is small. The area granted by the government is not built by the college authorities.
Hostels - hostels are also not built even though there is space allocated for them to built.

Placement Experience:

The campus placement starts from 4th year . In 3rd year we get internship. You can see the companies visited from the college website. The average package as of 2023 was 30.52 lpa and the median package was 25 lpa. The highest 59 lpa oncampus, off campus highest placement was 1.2 CR. 100% students got placed in 2022 and 2023.

I liked coding culture . Seniors and friends help alot

Mess food contains mostly aloo . You have to eat it

Course Curriculum Overview:

My course is very similar as computer science for first two year. After then things get seperated .Faculty members are fine . All the faculty members are phd and ver educated . Besides this I lack in understanding their teaching methods .In every two months there are exams.

College best for placements

Likes

Supportive seniors. Seniors are very helpful.
Seniors taught us more than faculties that are important.
Course curriculum is very good and relevant to industry.

Dislikes

No sports facility in present in our college.
Wifi condition is also very bad. Hostels are slso very bad.
Hostel is also not available for 1st year students and provided outside the campus and the condition is very bad.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I want any computer related branch. The curriculum is the best as it is the first college to follow a new education policy. All faculty are PhD holders. We have mid-sem and end-sem exams and they are easy to pass.

Being patience for the questions

The location where it was near of malls and theater
College placements are so good for our exceptions
Coding cultural in our college is very good so we can learn alot in the college

Dislikes

Ground in our can be expanded in such that most of the place is with trees

I choose my course due to my passion and there are 6 faculties and 58 students. The teaching of the facility was good, even teaches us programming languages in a good explaining way and they will also be explained with codes.

Placement is very good so I like Placement
Coding Environment is also very good in our college.
Location is also one of the best where we stay.

Dislikes

I disliked about mosquitoes there a lot of.
There is no extra sports activities in our college
Whoever goes outside of campus have to come before 10 pm.

Placement Experience:

From 5th semester Students are Eligible for the placements so no worries. There are a lot of companies visited on campus like amazon, flipkart, tekion, walmart and many more. 100% of students get placed in our campus.

BEING A NEW IIIT, IT HAS BEATEN MANY IITS AND NITS IN THE TERMS OF PLACEMENT. THE AVERAGE OF THE YEAR 2022-23 WAS 31 LPA AND THE HIGHEST DOMESTIC PACKAGE WAS 70 LPA. THE REASON FOR IT IS THE CODING CULTURE OF THIS COLLEGE!

Since it has a strong coding culture and if you have enough knowledge to survive in the industrial field, you can apply after 1st year for internships. Otherwise, students will get enough chances after 2nd year. Avg package = 32 lacs per annum (approx). The highest package = 1.2 Cr per annum.
