IIIT Lucknow: The institute of National Importance

Likes

The Coding culture of this institute is really good.
The faculties of this institute are really knowledgeable and helpful. Each of them is best in their respective fields.
The classrooms are digitally equipped and well designed for a peaceful environment for learning.

Dislikes

The hostel facility is not so good. There are no proper hostels for the boys.
The mess food is very average. Also there are no options available for the non-vegetarians.

Placement Experience:

In M.Sc. after the 1st year, the students are allowed to do internships. We are the first batch of the M.Sc. programs so there are no official records for the placements. But most of us have been doing internships till now. The placement records for the B.Tech and M.Tech are very high. They have a mean package of 30 LPA.

Very Good Placements with Poor Infrastructure.

Likes

Placement activities is good. Average package is good
Faculties are kind of supportive and helpful. But only in studies
Mess food is decent. Not the best, but acceptable

Dislikes

Infrastructure is bad. Wifi doesn't work at all.
Cleanliness is also very bad. They washrooms are nor clean
Hostel facilitie is very worst. There is no on campus hostel for first yeat students.

Placement Experience:

The placements in this college are the only attractive part. Companies such as Nvidia, Intel, AMD visit the college for internships every year. The college has placements through internships. Direct PPO are also given.

Good and Bad

Likes

Thing i like about this college is it's freedom.
In this college the classrooms are also good
Placements of this college is a huge plus

Dislikes

Mess food of this college is very bullshit
There are no sport facilities in this college
College infrastructure is also very poor

Placement Experience:

The placements of this college is pretty good in this scenario. Like almost every student is getting placed and whoever is not getting placed is going for higher studies. So no student is being unemployed.

Disecting IIITL

Likes

The cirriculim is kind of chill, attendance and everthing else is quite relaxed
Placements stats are also good and very good companies visit us on campus and give good packages
The college is still getting established so there are no rigid rules as of now

Dislikes

We dont have a proper hostel for boys. Boys lives in dorms here
The campus size is small. You will get bored of it within 2-3 months
The quality of faculty is not good except few faculties like dean

Placement Experience:

My college placements are excellent, even though last year we were facing recession 226/240 students were plcaed and rest 14 remained unplaced. The average of the placed students stood somehwere around 25-30LPA

Likes

The placement stats is good . social interaction is good and very good coding atmosphere
Faculty is good and well experienced and has good knowledge
Seniors provide good mentorship throughout course

Dislikes

College infrastructure is not up to mark
Hostel are not built yet .first year students have to live outside
College infrastructure should be build .proper grounds for sports should be there

Placement Experience:

From the 5 semester a student can sit for placement and internship opportunities Campus placement is there and also We can go for off campus placements opportunities Many companies have visited Like Google ,Walmart Flipkart,de shaw,paypal etc More than 95percent students get placed I also wanna secure a good placement

helpful for those who are wishing to come to iiit lucknow

Likes

college's hostel rooms are very big and spacious , well air conditioned and enabled with wifi . washrooms get cleaned on daily basis
faculties are well experienced and completed their studies from well known institutes like iits, iims
faculty used to teach in a well expertised manner

Dislikes

as the college is new, there is not a big alumini network
campus is not that much big in size and well maintained
canteen in the campus is not that much well

Course Curriculum Overview:

the course curriculum at iiit lucknow is designed in such a way that it needs all possible requirements which are needed from a student when they join any company such as dsa, web designing, competitive coding.

IIITL -

Likes

The coding culture is the core strength of the college. It gives tough competition to top IIT's as well
Some faculties are good and experienced.The Hostel facilities are good for girls

Dislikes

Hostel facilities for boys is subject to availability, there is no separate boys hostel and this they are forced to live in 10-12 seater rooms
Proper Sports facilities & equipments are not available
The technical and cultural fests are not much interesting

Placement Experience:

For girls companies start coming in 2nd year for internship and many scholarship opportunities are available for them For boys the companies start coming from the 3rd year. The placement stats are very good and there has been an exponential rise in the placement since recent years. In 2023-2024 the average package was around 30 lacs. Almost 10 students were placed in Google and around 30-40 students were placed in top companies like Zomato, Blinkit, Amazon, Microsoft etc.

IIITLucknow - The college which has been recently established but gaining new heights every year

Likes

Campus life is very energetic. Our college hosts annual fests' every year which are very energetic and engaging.
Placement statistics are absolutely fantastic and the alumni of our college also helps us in reaching new heights.
The peers in the college believe in healthy competition which helps each one grow and learn more

Dislikes

The hostel management could improvise a little.

Placement Experience:

The campus placements are truly promising. Every year all the students are placed with an avearge package of around 24LPA and median package of 20 LPA. The placement committe always tries its best to keep on improving everytime. The all time highest package achevied till date is of 1.2cr. Several MNCs come to our college for the placement drives like Uber, Acko, Meesho and several others.

IIIT Lucknow a mix of experiences

Likes

I really liked the coding culture of the college which i would say is amongst the best in the country.
I really liked a number of faculties which are very understanding, helpful and highly qualified.
I really liked the synergy between every other course i the campus. Like every branch and course will help each other selflessly.

Dislikes

I did not like the facilities in terms of sports, other facilities are okay but not the sports one.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are very good. The college has seen 100% for past years and the stats for the upcoming years are yet to come but we expect it to be in high 90s or even 100%. The average placement offer is around 30.52 LPA, median around 25 LPA and highest domestic offer being 59 LPA for B.Tech. For M.Tech placement stats are average 22.10 LPA, median 25 LPA and highest 45 LPA.
