IIIT Vadodara Affiliated Colleges

I have friends in all the aforementioned colleges and thus am writing this answer based on collective experiences only. From the reviews of their respective colleges, I arrived at the conclusion that IIIT Sonepat is the best option among all these. 

IIIT Sonepat fairs are better than the aforementioned institutes in terms of infrastructure, placement fees, etc. Here are a few strong reasons to choose IIIT Sonepat

• Sonepat enjoys a good location advantage being located just half an hour away from Delhi.
• Located near DU IIT Delhi and other institutes, you can easily enjoy their fests.
• IIIT Sonepat is located in Delhi,  the educational hub so it offers better coaching opportunities.
• IIIT Sonepat has an excellent growth rate in comparison to other IIIT's.

Moreover, judging by my friends' experiences, the preference order I can up with is

IIIT Sonepat>>>>IIIT Surat >IIIT Vadodara>IIIT Kurnool

LNMIIT and IIIT Vadodara are both highly respected institutions for engineering education in India. Here are some pros and cons of each institution to help you make an informed decision:

LNMIIT:

Pros:

• LNMIIT has a strong focus on research, with several research centers dedicated to various fields.
• The institute has a well-established placement record, with top companies like Microsoft, Amazon, and Goldman Sachs recruiting students.
• The campus infrastructure is modern and well-equipped, with facilities like an auditorium, a central library, and a sports complex.
• The faculty members are highly qualified and experienced, and the institute has a low student-to-faculty ratio.
• The institute has a vibrant student community, with several clubs and societies for extracurricular activities.

Cons:

• The fees for LNMIIT are relatively high compared to other engineering colleges, which may be a concern for some students and families.
• The location of the institute in Jaipur may not be ideal for everyone, especially those who prefer a quieter, more secluded campus.
• LNMIIT has a strong focus on computer science and IT, which may not be suitable for students interested in other engineering branches.

IIIT Vadodara:

Pros:

• IIIT Vadodara has a strong focus on entrepreneurship and innovation, with several initiatives to promote start-ups and incubate new ventures.
• The institute has a good placement record, with top companies like TCS, Infosys, and Wipro recruiting students.
• The campus infrastructure is modern and well-equipped, with facilities like a central library, a sports complex, and a student activity centre.
• The faculty members are highly qualified and experienced, and the institute has a low student-to-faculty ratio.
• IIIT Vadodara offers a diverse range of engineering branches, including computer science, electronics, and communication.

Cons:

• IIIT Vadodara is a relatively new institution, having been established in 2013, which may be a concern for some students and families.
• The location of the institute in Gandhinagar may not be ideal for everyone, especially those who prefer a more metropolitan or cultural city.
• The institute has a limited number of student clubs and societies for extracurricular activities compared to some other engineering colleges.

If you are facing a decision between different colleges, you are recommended to join LNMIIT.

While IIIT Vadodara may seem like an obvious choice, it does not yet have its own campus, and its curriculum is still unstable. Additionally, its placement record is not great. Therefore, IIIT Vadodara may not be the best option for you.

Thapar is a decent college with good infrastructure and facilities, but its student quality may not be as high as you would like. Half of the seats are reserved, and the competition for placements can be tough due to the high student intake. Furthermore, Thapar's reputation has been declining in recent years.

On the other hand, LNMIIT is an excellent choice. There are no reservations, and the number of seats is limited. You can check the college's website for information on placements and other important details. So if you want to make a wise choice, LNMIIT is your best bet.

Choosing between IIIT Bhubaneswar and IIIT Vadodara for CSE depends on several factors. Here are some factors that you may want to consider:

• Reputation and Ranking: Both institutes have a good reputation and are considered among the top engineering colleges in India. IIIT Bhubaneswar is ranked higher than IIIT Vadodara in various national and international rankings.
• Course Curriculum: You must dig deeper into the course curriculum offered by both institutes and see which one aligns more with your interests and career goals. Check if the institute offers electives that align with your interests and if they provide enough practical exposure.
• Faculty: Check the faculty profiles and their research areas of both institutes. It will give you an idea of the research culture and expertise that the institute offers.
• Campus Infrastructure: Consider the infrastructure and facilities provided by both institutes, such as hostel facilities, labs, libraries, sports facilities, etc.
• Placements: During BTech placements in 2022 at IIIT Bhubaneswar, the highest package offered was INR 25 LPA, while the average package stood at INR 8 LPA. IIIT Bhubaneswar is a recently constructed campus that operates as a satellite campus of IIIT Vadodara. Both institutes share the same placement cell. In the 2021-22 placement drive, a total of 85 companies visited IIIT Vadodara resulting in a 100% placement rate, with an average salary package of 14 LPA.
• Location: Consider the location of both institutes and see which one is more convenient for you in terms of accessibility and cost of living.

Overall, both institutes are good options for CSE. So, make a well-informed decision based on your preferences and goals.

IIIT Sri City is the best option among these. It has a better placement record. Also, the resources and the facilities offered for research are the best at IIIT Sri City among these four institutes. 

Over the last few years, the institute has maintained an impressive placement record. According to IIIT Sri City placement highlights of 2021, the average and highest CTC offered were INR 12.02 LPA and INR 43 LPA. Companies such as Microsoft, Amazon, L&T Infotech, etc. took part in the placement drive.
