Aspirant seeking admission in 2-year full-time Master of Technology [M.Tech.] must have passed graduation in a relevant stream from a recognized university.
Note
Selection of candidates to the M.Tech programme will be done on the basis of their GATE scores.
Course Details
The university offers M.Tech programme under 11 specializations for which admissions are on the basis of GATE entrance examination which is followed by personal interview. Candidates are also required to have at least 55% marks in their graduation.

- Active campus and lot of programs for freshers also to showcase their talents
- Good library with a lot of books and time upto 9:00 pm is available
Dislikes
- Food is not so good, especially lunch. Breakfast is nice in canteen but lunch is not
- Only one ladies hostel, so only a few get accommodated. Paying guest around the college seems to be bit expensive
Fees and Financial Aid:
For Mtech after getting the allotment we have to pay 12242 which are Admission fees- 252/- Tution fees- 6615/- for 1 semester Special fees- 3875/- per year Caution deposit - 1500/- So a total of 12242/- I am studying in CET Thiruvananthapuram, here an amount of 18,000/- has to be given as PTA fund while joining, which is a huge amount and most of them know about this while coming for admission. This amount may vary from college to college. For SC, ST, OEC students 12,242 paid at the time of allotment is getting refunded
Fee Structure And Facilities:
The course is of two year duration and the fee structure is as follows: Tuition fee- First year 1,30,000 Second year 1,30,000 Thus the total fee for the entire programme is Rs 2,60,000 which is quite expensive.
