- One of the most famous festival here is the varsity week books and journals could be availed from the library easily the management should work on developing the class into smart classes sports area need an improvement
- There's a lot of opportunities for like scholarships like ishan uday scholarship (54000 inr per annum) and ews scholarship (2000inr per annum.
- The completion of the course, the opportunities increase and the students either get placement opportunities in government services or in private companies.
Dislikes
- No bus service. transportation of the students is a difficult task as there is no bus facility.
- No closed campus which is slight disturbing for the students to visit department tp department throughout a busy city
- The environment of the university is very poor as it is a open campus. also the campus is too small to proper administration.

- No ragging campus, people are friendly here
- This institute has a lot of history as it was the first college in the entire North East India
- Excellent faculty,all graduating from top institutes
Dislikes
- Washroom not properly maintained by authority
- No proper field for playing outdoor sports
- Hostels are old,should construct more new hostels
Course Curriculum Overview:
I always wanted to study BSC chemistry hons. And this institute is one of the best if not the best in the entire North East India for bachelors degree.
The NEP for me is useless and we should focus more the core subjects instead of studying other subjects from arts background

- Students from each part of north-east come here to study.
- Has a historical significance in academics of the state.
- Diversity of political ideologies and culture is visible.
Dislikes
- Students-teachers ratio is not healthy in University.
- Research Facilities and infrastructure is lacking.
- Marking and grading system is not distinct and proper.
Course Curriculum Overview:
1. Very high standard curriculum I find.
2. The materials provided are so inclusive. It's more than any other college.
3. Exams are very tougher compared to other colleges I know.
4. The course curriculum ease the higher academics for students.

- Like the cultural environment also it has very friendly environment. Get the chance to meet people from the whole north east.
- After entering to cotton my interection skills are being developed.people are friendly and I like to roam around the campus.
- Faculties are very cool of our department. They are helpful. And guide as well very nicely.
Dislikes
- I dislike about the university is it's campus is too short for a university. Sometimes it's very unorganised.
- It have many problems regarding class rooms and proper infrastructure
- Its became so terrible in exam times. We need more improvement in the campus.
Course Curriculum Overview:
As my course is English literature, I read very much about literature. It is an another world. We roam in the world of imagination , created by Shakespeare, jane Austen,Charles Dickens and many more. Those writings give us pleasure. Teachers teaching methods are also ok. But there are some teachers that I don't like their methods.

- The college have a good and friendly environment for education, cultural and sports.
- The college includes different department.
- The college have different facilities like canteen, wifi and many more
Dislikes
- The college campus is not so big in teram of area.
- There are little bit of washrooms issues
- The college does have its own playground.
Course Curriculum Overview:
The college's curriculum is very good. New students will find it nice. Teaching methods of the college is nice but can improve more from my point of view. Two exams are conducted in a particular semester. Timings of the exams are good and the level is medium.

- The atmosphere around the campus is really good and aspiring, you find peace and inspirational figures
- People here are really cooperative and supportive. They are ready to help anyone anywhere anytime, kind hearted and lovely people
Dislikes
- The infrastructure needs to be developed and the classrooms need some maintained
- It's an open campus and the disturbance from honking around in the streets is disturbing this needs to be fixed
- Excursions and internships programs need to be implemented more for a better understanding and development of the students
Course Curriculum Overview:
The course curriculum according to me needs some changes as of now the study should more focus on the contemporary world and events and should lean towards a more integrated study for the overall development of the students
