One of the most famous festival here is the varsity week books and journals could be availed from the library easily the management should work on developing the class into smart classes sports area need an improvement
There's a lot of opportunities for like scholarships like ishan uday scholarship (54000 inr per annum) and ews scholarship (2000inr per annum.
The completion of the course, the opportunities increase and the students either get placement opportunities in government services or in private companies.

Dislikes

No bus service. transportation of the students is a difficult task as there is no bus facility.
No closed campus which is slight disturbing for the students to visit department tp department throughout a busy city
The environment of the university is very poor as it is a open campus. also the campus is too small to proper administration.

best palace for master

Remarks:

The Cotton University is one of the most prestigious instituiton of North East India. Every student of Assam have a dream to study in the college.I am so lucky that i got a chance to study in this college.

It should uplift its academic curriculum.

Remarks:

College is not so good as i mentioned above,no proper hostel,teachers are not too good as they don’t give practical knowledge,college food is fine,college have many sports,this is 1 many advantage of this college.Join any college main thing is its all depends on you.

My college is a historic college

Remarks:

Our institute is very much open to everyone in the city. That what makes me feel awkward as there are lingering of other people, also students of other colleges in our campus at times. I have a scroll of suggestions in my hand but it would not matter anyway. The 2 most important i would like to mention is that, Development of Department of Biotechnology (of which i am student). Interaction with highest authority of the institute should be made hassle-free.

The overall experience of my college life has been full of ups and downs.

The college has been recently upgraded to university by Assam govt. The newly formed university of this prestigious heritage college is currently unstable and has to improve in many aspects to compete with other universities .
