The Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) program at the university is a relatively new course, having started two years ago, and spans 4.5 years. It includes four years of academic study with clinical postings and a six-month internship, which students can arrange through hospitals or with the university's help. Students begin clinical postings in their second year at ITM Medical Hospital and continue in the third year at various city hospitals.
Currently, there are no placement opportunities available for graduates. Three examinations are held annually: internal, preliminary, and external. The faculty is praised for being understanding, friendly, and approachable, fostering a supportive and engaging learning environment. The fee structure for the BPT program is set to increase for the upcoming batch, with the current annual fee at Rs 90,000, which will rise to Rs 1,11,000. This includes a registration fee of Rs 10,000, a tuition fee of Rs 76,000, and an examination fee of Rs 4,000.
Alternatively, another fee structure shows an annual fee of Rs 84,000, comprising a tuition fee of Rs 80,000, an examination fee of Rs 4,000, and a first-year admission fee of Rs 2,000. Hostel fees differ based on amenities: Rs 1,10,000 per year for rooms with AC, Rs 97,000 for non-AC rooms with an attached washroom, and Rs 88,000 for non-AC rooms without an attached washroom.
