Placement opportunities: the college is known to have a good placement record, with students securing placements in reputed companies.
They teach in a very good way and they help us to gain knowledge.
I chose amritha vishwa vidyapeetham because of its great atmosphere and the amazing scenery given from the mountains and the amazing faculty and infrastructure given at amritha, coimbatore and more accessible to me to go from every day

Dislikes

Hostel is also the worst, no attach bathrooms and bathrooms are also worst bad quality no maintenance.no a/c
The placement system from the last year is bad and they're blaming it on the recession
I chose this course because i like the course minimum qualification is mtech depending on the semester courses it is very difficult to pass the exams questions papers are very tough and we should work very hard during exams.

It's your decision to attend placements or not but in my course most of them will consider for abroad studies and college will also provides placement if you maintain good grades but initially the salary will be low

Life at Amrita

I like the collage infracture which is near the mountains and we have many trees in our collage. On winter season we like the climate here which is so cold. The things that made to to join this collage is their infrastructure.
The other thing that made me to join here is about the placement and the teaching style of the teachers teaching the class. The infrastructure od collage is very nice we have Total 4 blocks for engineering students and 1 for MBA students
We have many lab for hands on experience on all subjects and many canteen for all students.

Dislikes

To be honest i personally do not like the food here.
They do not provide Non veg dishes in hostel messes.
And one more thing I do not like is the distance between the collage and the hostel is very long around 1.5Km

Placement Experience:

I have a best placement rate in our collage. I final year we have to do a project and after that we are eligible for the placement. Many big MNC companies are visiting our campus such as Google amazon, flipkart and Zoho. The average package of the CSE student is around 7LPA. The highest package is around 70LPA. Around 95% are getting placed.

An honest review : My college experience (amrita)

I liked the campus here, which is surrounded by sea which is a humidity area as it is a seashore and the trees are very high as it is situated in Kerala who have coconut trees high.
I liked the cultural event which is doing here, we not only have studied but also we have many other activites like YOGA MEDITATION AND ADM subjects which will improve our indian culture.
I liked the time of the college which is very low, we have only 5 hours classes daily and we are enjoying and we have holidays in week ends and we will enjoy we have holidays for small festivals also.

Dislikes

We don't have a Air conditioners which are very need for this climate, as it is a sea shore place which have very hot weather we need ac to live but we don't have ac in both colleges and hostels
The mess food is very bad, we can't eat that food because they will use coconut oil and all food materials are very liquids and especially we can't eat that rubber idli which are very worse.
The hostels from 2 sen are very bad as it have common bathrooms, and we can't adjustable it, they are clean but they are used by all hostel members.

I am very interested in my course which is CSE-CYBER SECURITY, my ambition is also to become a ethical hacker, and I want to do masters in foreign,the circulum is very good that they are keeping CRYPTOGRAPHY AND CYBER ESSENTIALS in 1st and 2nd sem which are basics to become a hacker and we have learnt about linux which is A OS like windows and we have the best faculty for that and labs also very good

The traditional, cultural, nature of the college.
The atmosphere in the college and the ashramam
The lab facilities and the faculty are very nice

Dislikes

Hostel, mess. The hostel food and drinking water is subpar
The distance between the hostel and the college.
Area surrounding the college has horrible roads

Students become eligible for campus placements at 3rd year. Theres google microsoft palo alto and multipult other big companies offering an average of 10-12 lpa packages while also the highest going upto 64 lpa from paloalto. Almost all the students get placed thru campus selection as there is a rigorous training for placements from the first year itself.

Amrita vishwa vidyapeetham is a beautiful campus with enormus landscape with big buildings, our campus have lots of research labs for students to gain a practical knowledge, Amrita campus has four academic blocks which contains various departments
Our campus has three big play grounds with size of 400m , we can have free access for the gym which is present in our college, our college have huge number of sport equipments to support players of amrita, our college mainly provides good veg foods
Our college conducts lots of technical events and cultural festivals throughout the academic year with full involvement so it is helpful for the students to showcase their skillset and talents to everyone, our college staffs are kind hearted persons

Dislikes

The boys hostel rooms and toilets should improve and modernize for comfort of students and still they need focus on hygiene of foods , taste of food and preparation method and serving of food should be improved
Some of classrooms lacks in smart boards so it should be fixed to corresponding departments

Yeah, placements are good at our college with the annual package of 8 to 12 lakhs per annum for the chemical engineering department with regards to student talent and knowledge, The team of C.I.R. gives us full support based on interviews and placement for companies.

I feel that our college has best infrastructure.
The college is full of greenery with types of plants.
And I like the way they clean the college everyday.

Dislikes

I think they should enlarge the size of our canteen.
The food taste should be improved more for students.
College should take more ground space for students to play.

Placement Experience:

From Semester 7 you will be eligible for campus placements.I doesn't visit any company.The highest package in our college is 6700000 and average package is around 1200000.97 percent of the students will be get placed.My plans after degree is Masters.

Cons of amrita

Likes

College infrastructure. It was very good. The trees near the college the kind of environment is also good
The labs are good but not excellent the faculty was not much good but ok some of the faculties were seriously awesome
The time table and syllabus was good the academics were good and they conduct many hackathons

Dislikes

The faculty there teaching was not actualy that good but ok
They dont celebrate more fests there is no chance of enjoymemt
The hostels were very strict and the timings for girls are very bad

Placement Experience:

From 5 th semester i think so i was not much aware about that. Many top companies visit for placements here like google, infosis, the highest package was about 30 lpa and the average is avout 7-9lpa per annum

The campus environment is actually cool like the views of hills etc
The big playground to play if you have enthusiasm in sports and games
Their are some professors who are down to earth to help you

Dislikes

The girls and boys ratio over here is 5:2.
The strict rules of hostel closure timing and the dress code.
The continuous classes or like long lecture hours and the rude behaviour of resident warden

Placement Experience:

Like ever year the situation varies and this time ig the placements for AI department was pretty low comparative to some other department. Here the thing cse core have the more strength, so like u have to compete with them as well. And my plans are to sit for campus placement and will try for off campus as well. And may go for start up if any idea cracks out.

Opportunities at our college

Likes

The professors were highly knowledgeable and approachable, with many professors holding PhDs from reputed instutions.
Teaching methods were a mix of traditional lectures and interactive sessions, which helped in better understanding of the concepts
Mentorship classes were held. Seniors and faculties guided us on academic and career-related matters.

Dislikes

There was not enough felxibility in scheduling classes. the timetable is packed and life is stressful
Ece is the strictest department in the whole campus. All the labs are evaluation labs and even if you miss one lab there are more chances that you get a F and repeat the whole lab again
Uniform is manditory on working days. Can wear color dress on saturdays that too only if you dont have a lab

Placement Experience:

Our college offers campus placements. For ECE i heard that the placements are pretty decent and most of the students got placed. The average package is about 8-10 lakhs. The highest package this year (24-25) so far is 29LPA and still the placements are going on.

In terms of academics, Amrita University matches the IIT syllabus and course structure. The infrastructure and laboratories are in good condition. The college works closely with businesses and other educational institutions. Many academic activities are being carried out to ensure effective information exchange.

College life is the most interesting part. Amrita University's Coimbatore campus is one of the cleanest in India and spans 500 acres. Amrita is a very diverse campus and a great place to make new friends. There is no such constraint. Cell phones are not permitted in the classroom. However, after leaving the classroom, you can talk to your loved ones. A minimum attendance requirement of 80% must be met, or you must present sufficient justification for your absence.

Amrita provides free wifi that is typically 0.5Mbps fast. Aside from YouTube, Facebook, and a few other sites, most academic content is available. Everything else is restricted. Only nutritious vegetarian food is served. The menu is adequate for a South Indian restaurant. If you are a traveler, you will have enough vacation time in Amrita to visit all of India in two years. The resident warden must grant permission for the outing. Every time a girl needs an outing pass, she must submit a fax from her parents.
