How is chemical engineering at Amrita?

One of my cousins studied at Amrita. According to him, chemical engineering at Amrita is superior and advanced in comparison with other colleges. The faculty is highly knowledgeable with a doctorate degree. Classes are conducted in the most interesting and pleasant way that’ll work on enhancing the skills of students. Although the resources are made available to the students based on their field of interest, it is on them to drill into all of it. The better they have an understanding of the provided resources the more developed their skills are. Moreover, the department encourages the students to take part in various projects that help them in obtaining a spot in internship and training programs. However, the students do not get placements in core companies on their completion of UG course. Acquiring a job after higher studies would be less of a hassle. UG here would be a great choice.

Can I get a seat in a university in Amrita, Coimbatore in CSE or chemical engineering with a rank of 11,500?

I have a few friends from Amrita University, so I can give you some information regarding the required cutoff for admission at the institute. With this rank, you will get admission at Amrita University but for getting a CSE branch you will need a rank below 3000. If your rank is above 3000, then you may ask the management and you might get Bangalore or Amritapuri branch for the CSE. If you are not in the Tamil Nadu state quota category you cannot get a seat with the counseling process, you will need to contact the college for more details. If you belong to the state quota then you might get preference and get the branch of your choice.

The year-wise fee for B.Tech in Chemical Engineering for slab 2 students is 1.65 lakhs, I have allocated slab 2 in b.tech in chemical engineering in Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham Coimbatore campus. In amrita, there are scholarships for students of different courses with different slabs, like slab 1 fee for b.tech in chemical engineering, which costs 1 lakh per year, slab 2 costs around 1.65 lakh, and slab 3 fee costs 2 lakh also the Non - scholarship category available in the Amrita campus for every courses it costs around 2.5 lakh .

There are three slab basically all the slabs are based on the merits and first slab is 100000, send it increases by 65000 increment next 200000 non scholarship is for 240000, by jee percentile also we can enter in merit

The college overall atmosphere is good. A green and clean campus filled with trees and plants. Cpus experience wise college is really good but when it comes to the events and other things this college lacks all of those things.

I will be paying 250000 rs it's my tuition fee and 100000 rs as hostel fee including message food and the scholarship values are 100000 and 200000 rs this include the scholarship fee you should pay to enter the campus

In the tuition fee structure, the scholarship based admission is divided into 3 categories: Slab 1: 90+ JEE or top rank in Amrita's entrance exam.. varies for people from different backgrounds however. Slab 1 students usually have to pay around 1 Lakh Per Year Slab 2: those students who come just short of the first slab critireas fit into slab 2, where they pay around 1.6Lakh Per Year Slab 3: The final slab for scholarships, where students who don't fall under the first two slabs but still maintain enough marks to meet the scholarship critirea. They have to pay around 2 Lakh Non Scholarship and NRI/International admission based: The Non Scholarship fee for my course(Chem Engg) is at around 2.5 Lakh per year whereas an option for NRI/International students does not currently exist, the average fee is around 8-10 Lakh for those categories

The year wise fees is on the basis of the slab you are in.I am slab 2 so i have to pay l.65 lakhs annually for slab 1 its 1lakh and for slab 3 its 2.25 lakhs slab 4 is basically non scholr ship so you have to pay 2.6 lakhs

AMRITA UNIVERSITY COIMBATORE REVIEW

I am currently paying 2.65 lakh per annum inclusive of hostel and mess fee as I am in scholarship slab 2. Tuition fee depends on the course you opt and also the rank you get. Better the rank lesser the fee. In chemical engineering the fee structure extends upto 4L inclusive of hostel fee and mess fee. Airtel gives scholarship here for a selected students on some criteria for a fully funded study here in the college so fee depends on your performance

4 lakhs per annum which is inclusive of hostels, and mess. The scholarship is provided in a good way to students who are facing financial issues. I didn't get any scholarships from my college. I got placed in Yokogawa India Limited by undergoing college placement criteria.
