Everything about kalyani university

Likes

The fees is quite less for a b.tech degree
The campus is huge in size it's about 380 acres
The campus has a lot of greenary and spacious

Dislikes

The placement recordy could have been better
The grass are so long near department building
It takes a lot of time to reach department from main gate

My course in this university is electronics and instrumentation engineering. They prepare us really well I would say and the labs are also good and resourceful if you consider it a government University

Teacher are friendly , separte building for science department, location of collage is good

I was interested in plants and animals so I. Decided to study more about it in details so I choosed this subject as my bsc hons course this develop my knowledge more with my intrest and as I said before that college have an separate room for botany so it give me more experience

From Classroom to College Life: A deep dive into Ranaghat college.

Likes

The faculties were really good ...They always used to help out the students in every possible way.
The atmosphere of the college was outstanding...so peace and calm and the playground over there was way too good.we used to play games and enjoy our college life a lot.
My experience with college was overall good..

Dislikes

I personally disliked the lab facilities
The college was very clean no doubt bt the washrooms was really unhygienic and poor ...It should be changed.
The canteen was also the disaster and our physiology teacher Mr sunanda too.

Course Curriculum Overview:

See my dream was to study in this field as biology was my favourite from my school days so I decided to choose this field...Teaching methods was good but the practicals needs to get improved as there was less amount of equipments in lab ...once in a year there was a exam and that was final exam so there was too much pressure to qualify and timing was 4 hours for honours paper and three hours for pass papers

I liked the teachers and professor who help me in my studies
The seniors r too help ful the help with ssubjects and notes
The quality of the infrastructure increase my intrest to went to college more

Dislikes

I personally don't like the union group of college
Cause i m not into any political parties it disturb studies
My personal opinion to remove the union from college

The most of reason i love this subject as it is, my personal favourite is history and otherside my friends influenced me It helps me to improve my gk and as person it helps me in future for any kind of govement exam

My best moments in college

Likes

Students can participate in a variety of activities, such as volunteering, joining a sports team, or practicing an art.
Our college's canteen was a remarkable place in my college life as whenever we got time, we used to chill in the canteen.
College offers the opportunity to explore various subjects and majors, helping students discover their passions and interests.

Dislikes

Students may dislike studying for exams, competing for admissions, and trying to master large amounts of content in a short time.
They Are Passionate about the Things that Are not Taught at College.
One of the first challenges you may face in university is missing school life.

Course Curriculum Overview:

A group-based method was followed between friend circles which allows all to learn from each other and work together to solve problems. We are provided with library facilities for our help in solving our problems.

Likes

Teachers are really supportive and helpful. They provide proper guidance and advices to the students.
There's a central library with lots of books.
The environment in the college is really good.

Dislikes

No hostel facilities available in the college.
I would prefer much more larger classrooms.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I liked the course because it's quite interesting and application based. The curriculum prepares us both for theoretical and practical knowledge for future academic pursuits. We can continue in the research field with the subject. Also, there are certain jobs available too. The exams are taken internally once or twice in a single semester along with the main exam taken in the end.

Likes

Faculty members of my department are very knowledgeable and fully support us
The support staff like lab attendant of my department were great help and very friendly
The college campus is peaceful and beautiful with lots of greenery

Dislikes

The canteen needed upgradation the food is not so good
The classrooms are little bit old and needed upgradation
The college dress is also something that I didn't like much

The practicals are interesting to know also the course curriculum is good sometimes a little bit hard but teacher help...the exams are good not to hard neither to easy and it's frequency is okay you get ample time to prepare

College with good environment

Likes

Our department is student friendly, helpful and all classes are held.
Teachers provide study materials and uses different examples, photographs for better understanding
All practical classes are completed on time. Syllabus is also completed on time

Dislikes

Water supply is not provided some time like in toilet and practical rooms.
I think lack of smart classrooms are needed.

Course Curriculum Overview:

We rely our life on plants.That is the main reason to choose this subject as the plants mysterious and we can't communicate with them. Other than that the course Botany provides the idea of biotechnology also. That is a growing industry.
