I love my college

The college is beautiful ,the garden the science lab are very decorated
The playground is perfect and we also play football, cricket there

The actual truth

Likes

Kalyani university have one of best ever environment in west Bengal.
Computer science department is so developed and with best facilities.
Professors and HOD is wonderful they guide us as their children's.

Dislikes

Btech in cse is started just 2 years ago. Anyone can't be sure about placement.
There are a lot of departments in University so you may have issues mentally that engineering department are not dominant like other colleges.
They have not any collaboration with other colleges so may problems for students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Btech in computer science and technology is one most valuable course in engineering. Even students of other field also involve themselves in coding,because software devloper and computer science jobs are one of the high paid job.

Few words about my university

Likes

The campus is more than 400 acres so we have lot of places to explore in between our green campus .
There are lots of events of different departments separately so one can engage with their seniors and alumnis.

Dislikes

On campus placement facility needs to be started properly and with disciplined.
Department should not put attendance pressure to a student.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As we know mca is a professional and master degree course which makes you an engineer. You can go to any IT company after mca or else you can go for PHD Or Mtech choice is up to individual what he/she wanted to be .

Likes

The management is very friendly and helpful.Our HOD is very Frank towards us and helps us in our studies and projects.
Our principal maintains our campus very well.
Everyone is well disciplined in our college.The college is a little bit strict but also good at the same time.

Dislikes

Though the campus is maintained very well.Still it is very small compared to other colleges.
Sometimes they overdo on students .Which according to me shouldn't be done.
The student union of the college isn't much active.So they have to be more active in my personal opinion.

Course Curriculum Overview:

No I don't have any specific curriculum activities.I just like math so I took the decision. No It doesn't I inspire myself so I will continue to learn. Teacher's should be a little bit practical about the course they teach us practically or theoretically.But I think they should teach us more than that on an emotional level. The syllabus is tough and we have some 5 months of gap between semesters.So we prepare thoroughly.

Some faculties were good as well as friendly
The college was near my house. I used to travel through local train.
Inter semester quiz competition in the mathematics day

Dislikes

Exams. University delay exams. Many times they changed the exam routine.
No placement support. No clubs. No fests.
Course curriculum was bad. Too much theory.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My score in mathematics in class 12 was 92. Therefore I choose to do hons in this subject. Honestly speaking this course is not good. The curriculum didn't prepare me for real word applications. Some faculty members were good. In this course the university should some topics on AI/ML or data science.

The University is near from my home location. The University provides practical knowledge in daily work field. Buildings and Work infrastructure has to be developed with modern facilities and proper internet facilities in the campus. The class timing is from 10:30 am to 4:30 pm from Mon to Fri. The Exam timing is 12 pm to 2 pm.
