University of Calcutta Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Candidates can participate in the campus placement drive from the second year. Some companies that come for placement provide only for interships and some provides full time. The average package offered is around 3-4 LPA for full time. Internships provide around 2k-3k per month depending on the company. The companies like Axis Bank, Airtel, TCS, EY, etc. come and place students from the campus. Around 35-40 companies come to place students with different job roles. After I got my degree I opted for Higher Studies and currently I am studying at Pondicherry University.

Opting for english honourse in fakir chand collegedue to its esteemed faculty. The faculty student ratiofosters personalized learning, well qualified,employ effective teaching methods. Term exms are timely, and passing is challenging yet fair, promoting academic rigor.

This course was choosen by me because I want to pursue my career as a professor. But honestly, bangabasi college need to work on their faculties. They are neither responsible nor regular, except a few of them . There is a massive irregularity in classes .

The course I have opted for is Economics hons. It's very interesting and rational. The department of economics of our college is very rich. Students do not need tuitions if they come under the hands of such experienced and knowledgeable professors of our college.

I choose the course because I think for me this field will be good for my future and also I will learn things about Commerce subjects And I also thought that commerce students will be the next future business mans in India.

I Chose this course for nothing special reason there is no value is bcom hons this days I just needed a graduation degree with this while I pursue banking in side. The faculty is nice, and the teachers are great they teach you from the root of a topic and give variable examples to understand briefly.

From sem 3 (for bcom) internships begins and the placement are given after sem 6 . Wipro , amazon , flipkart , tata are some famous companies which offers them Avg. Package is around2- 3 lakhs per annum and highest is probably 18lakhs per annum or more More than 70% students are offered placements each year at the end of their courses but most of them just rejects ut as they are more interested in their own start ups ,hence there are plenty of job opportunities.

I chose this course because it was a good option to go with CA/CS/CMA. The teachers do pay attention to individuals and if need be, students can always reach out to teachers. There are around 3-5 teachers per subject and that helps in completing the syllabus smoothly. The Internals Exams are held timely and the teaching faculties always discuss important topics to be covered and the study materials to refer to.

I chose B.Com (H) at Bhawanipur Education Society College for its strong commerce curriculum and diverse elective options. The faculty:student ratio is reasonable, fostering more personalized interactions. Faculty members hold relevant qualifications, but individual experiences may vary. Teaching methods vary; some professors are engaging, while others rely more on traditional lectures. It's advisable to explore different teaching styles. Term exams were generally timely, though the difficulty varied. Some found it challenging, requiring consistent effort for successful.

The campus placement is good..the maximum campus placement is 15000 pm. There are many companies who visited the college who visited the college for recruitment..the last semester students can get opportunity for campus selection..
