Curriculum is up to date and gets updated every year so that students can pace up with the dynamic change in technical environment. The exams are easy to write. Improvement are needed in exam backlogs as they make you fail whole semester, that much strictness is there
Basically is srm has a well defined syllabus and variety of course that are offered we are provided with enough industrial exposures and all. The faculties are well educated and are very friendly in terms of helping the students they have a great knowledge regarding there subjects
According to me the course and curriculum of my college is very good and well defined focusing on the insites of industries how to face interviews and placement tests. The faculties are very helpful and they are very supportive.
It was not completely latest and the instrument used in the labs were quite outdated. The programs taught to us was very basic and should be improved. Like we were taught about the 8086 processor only whereas it is the oldest processor
Curriculum in SRM is pretty outdated with no industrial exposure. Also the faculties are not that good. However, that is not a great hindrance considering quality education available online and also there are ample internship opportunities to get industrial exposure.
College is entirely about how much you can bsorb from your teachers. Most teachers are very helpful and qualified. Curriculum is quite up to date. Industrial exposure is good. Placement cell helps students get placed. However core companies for departments other than cse, it and software are rare
The fee structure is very expensive. For a student of my batch has to pay 1,50,000 per year as a tution fee but for the current batch it has been increased to 2,10,000 per year. Along with it, one has to pay 15,000 for career development and 15,000 for book fees.
The course structure is apt and creatively designed to ensure that there is a lot of learning, yet there is no pressure that is put on the students. The first semester is where engineering is eased in, and then semester by semester, you start to focus on your selected area of expertise. Good infrastructure and services provided within the labs.
