Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology(KIIT) is one of the best colleges in the northeastern part of the country. It claims to have a record of more than 90% placement. A total of 4379 offers were made, out of which 3156 students were placed in reputed companies. The top recruiter of the college is Accenture.

SRM Ghaziabad is known for its record-breaking placement of offering 8409+ jobs to its students. The training and placement cell is the focal point of the institute, as it helped national and international recruiters. More than 625+ companies visited the college and more than 95% of the students got job offers.

Amity University has made an impressive record of placing 1706 students. More than 525 companies visited the college, out of which 25 dream offers were made. The highest recruiting company was Accenture and selected 394 students. The first phase of placement begins in the month of August and results are announced.

The placement for each branch varies from one another. A number of small and big companies visited the college. Companies like Flipkart, TCS, Dell, IBM visit the college. The college maintains 70-80% placement every year.

Faculties of Manipal University believe in hands-on practical learning. As a result, 803 students were placed in the recent placement activity. SRM University-

The courses offered at SRM University are BBA, BCA, B.Sc, B.Tech, MBA, M.Tech, MBBS while their fees range around 1.1 Lacs to 22.6 Lacs per annum. The eligibility criteria for the courses being a minimum score of 50% in their last study followed by the entrance examination.

Placement:

PES University-

PES University outstands other universities for its 100% placement records. From Architecture to Finance to Commerce, the alumnus from PES University has made its mark in almost all the domains.

Both the institutes have their advantages and disadvantages, to choose which institute is better you should compare the two institutes based on the program they offer for the course you are interested in.

NIRF has ranked Sharda University among top 200 Institutes in India. University even gives an option to study in Uzbekistan for a semester to selected streams like BBA, CSE and IT. Sharda University offers 216 programs across various streams and has a student-faculty ratio of 11:1.

SRM has been ranked 35th under the National University category by NIRF,2020. SRM offers Management as its flagship course with 200+ students sponsored by the University every year for the 'semester abroad' program.

• Sharda University accepts JEE Main/ UPSEE / (SUAT+Personal interview), MAT, CAT test rankings for admission depending upon the course.

Between PES University and SRM University, the latter is a better option for CSE. It offers better infrastructure, faculty, and placements for the course.

Since I personally am not well acquainted with the prospects of LNCT Bhopal, it is best to restrict the elaboration to only SRM Delhi for offering the best insight. 

Advantages

• The learning environment is good since there are several well-experienced and professional faculty members. 
• The library generally contains books both from the academic and non-academic arenas, helping keep balance. 
• There are provisions for massive labs as well. 
• The non-teaching staff and assistants are extremely cooperative. 
• The curriculum is comparatively easier than what could be anticipated.
• The sports facilities are extremely advantageous for students who want to enroll in it in the first place. 
• The government-approved societies provide the best means of technology in the form of workshops and conferences.
• The placements are good. Huge MNCs such as Google, Amazon, Verizon, PWC, Deloitte, Airbus, and others arrive at SRM Delhi.

Disadvantages

• Students are likely to invest time in their self-study since the professors are only brief about the topic and expect students to learn the subject area on their own. 
• Students are required to visit the main campus for placements because the institute has a centralized placement scheme for every campus.

For admission purposes, you can directly enquire about the same, without having to deal with any third-party agent. 

First of all, it is SRM IST, Ghaziabad. While the institute is meant for science and engineering courses, it doesn’t quite live up to expectations. My cousin studied at SRM Institute, Ghaziabad and honestly he regrets choosing that college. 

Here are the major reasons why you should also not opt for this college.

• Misleading location: For those people who are thinking that the college comes under the NCR region (as mentioned on the website) which is in proximity to Delhi, you are wrong. The National Capital Region does not cover the boundaries of Modinagar (Precisely Sikrikalan), where this institute is situated. If you belong to NCR, it will switch to roaming once you enter the premises.

• Poor management: The management is really poor; you will face delays in all petty admin works like getting statements attested, recommendation letters, fee refunds, etc.

• Faculty: My cousin studied Computer Science which is called to be the best faculty there. However, his expectations were shattered due to the poor faculty. The professors (except a few) have no idea what they teach. You can expect the same professor to take Data Structures, Mobile Computing, Theory of Computation, etc. There is no plagiarism policy, with practical records being the same for all 60 students in the class.
  Also, the labs were outdated, with cutting-edge hardware running on a pirated version of Windows.

• Hostels: The hostels are decent; however, the mess food wasn't worth the high fees they charge. The hostel wardens are uneducated, doing nothing in case of mishaps and aren’t bothered about discipline.

• Poor placement assistance: For the placements in the final year, you need to travel all the way to Chennai with no support from management, not even accommodation support. Still, you won’t get a good placement.

Overall, my cousin and many of his friends managed to spend 4 miserable years in this institute. They feel like it was a waste of hard-earned money. So, we do not recommend you to join this institute unless you are not getting admission to the main SRM campus (situated in Sonipat, Haryana) or any other well-reputed institute.
