SRM University offers several courses at the UG, PG, and Phd levels. The UG programs are B.Tech, B. Pharma, B.Sc, BBA, and BCA. The PG courses are MBA, MCA, M.Tech, and MCA (Generative AI). The PhD course is offered in the fields of Engineering, Management, and Medicine. B.Tech is the flagship course of SRM University. To study the B.Tech course, students need to obtain a good score in the JEE Main / SRMJEEE exam. Candidates must also pass 10+2 with a minimum of 50% marks in PCM.

SRM University PhD Admission 2025
SRM University offers a PhD program in various disciplines in full-time and part-time modes. To be eligible for admission to PhD programs at SRM University, candidates must have a master’s degree in a relevant field with 55% aggregate marks. A relaxation of 5% of marks may be allowed for those belonging to SC/ST/OBC / differently-abled.

SRM University Admission Process 2025
SRM University admits candidates through the merit of the qualifying exam and also on the basis of scores of the entrance exam. Admission is primarily offered through online mode against the payment of INR 1,100 for the Application form fee, which is non-refundable. Students can also opt for the offline mode by visiting the campus. Candidates can apply for admission at SRM University online by following the steps mentioned below:
- Visit the Admission section on the SRM University website.
- Select the desired course.
- Fill in the Admission Application Form with personal, academic, and contact details.
- Also, upload the required documents including the 10th mark sheet & certificate, 12th mark sheet & certificate, Aadhar Card of the candidate and the parent, and a cancelled cheque. 2 passport-size photographs are also required.
- Pay the application fee and tuition fee using a Credit Card, Debit Card, Net Banking, or Bank Transfer.

Ques. How much stipend is offered at SRM University for PhD programs?
Ans. All full-time PhD candidates who are accepted for provisional registration starting in the 2021 academic year receive a monthly payment of INR 25,000 for a maximum of three years. Candidates also receive INR 31,000 per month for a maximum of three years if they pass the UGC-NET, including JRF, UGC-CSIR NET, including JRF, GATE, or GPAT.

Ques. What is the provision to withdraw admission from SRM University?
Ans. With the original fee receipt and the branch and entrance test rank, all cancellation or withdrawal requests at SRM University must be made in writing. The security deposit is the only tuition charge that is reimbursed for withdrawals made in the middle of the semester. When transferring to a different university after a year, a no-dues certificate is necessary in order to issue transfer documentation.
