I have applied to all IIMs. I got calls from majority of them and My best convert was IIM Lucknow. My second best call was IIM Kozhikode. I got rejected from IIM Ahmedabad, Bangalore and Calcutta. The admission process include clearing CAT exam, Giving Interview and then verifying the documents.

The campus is beautiful . The alumni is prestigious. There are ample amenities . Mess food is relatively better .
The professors are good . Not all but some . There are good companies for placements.

There is too much politics and a toxic competition.
Some of the classes are really bad and you have to sit through them.

I applied to all IIMs ( BLACKI) and was shortlisted only for Lucknow and converted it. Apart from it I got calls from SPJIMR, MDI, IITB and IIM MUmbai . I converted all of them. I did not clear XAT or IIFT.

Life at IIML

Placement - The Placement scenario at IIML was amazing
Culture- The culture of academic rigour at IIML was something that pushed students to do better

Single badminton court- There could have been more badminton courts

Cutoff for Indiant Institute of Management Lucknow was quite high and the admission process was also very strict with CAT being the clearing criteria followed by a written assesment test and a 45 Min Personal Interview.

I liked the campus. Nature's beauty is truly visible in the pollution free campus.

I think the infrastructure can be improved more.

-The eligibility for the course was a graduation complete student . -When you fill the CAT form ,you can apply the colleges. Once the results are out, the institute released the composite score based on their criteria. -Once a person is shortlisted,they have to fill the detailed form along with SOP and then go through the WAT-PI stage. -Depending on WAT-PI your score is considered along with some portion of composite score and results are announced.

Hell captured in an year

Sports is the best thing. Other than this, Campus life and friends are the most adorable thing here
Classrooms are mostly interactive and case based which give us a real life experience

Academic schedule is too hectic, due to which we rarely get time to go out
The security here does not allow outstation stays after 12 am

Embarking on the journey towards IIM Lucknow was both exhilirating and challenging. The gateway gateway to this esteemed college was the CAT exam, a rigorous test of aptitude and problem solving skills. Key to success was not just navigating through the exam but also aligning with the application dates. Timeliness was paramount. Despite the well structured process, there is still a space more more transperancy in the evaluation

Professors and their way of teaching was excellent. They did not leave any stone unturned
The experience with fellow students was exhilarating to say the least. The different perspectives that they have to offer is mind boggling

Sometimes it felt as if the curriculum is too intense. The load can be lightened a little bit

Had to appear for CAT exam. Anyone who has completed their graduation or are in their final year are eligible for the exam. Application forms are released on CAT's website in the month of July. After securing a good enough percentile which depends on your category, you are called for GDPI process of each college separately. Then a final merit list is prepared .

The diversity of students which you have here is very helpful as you get to learn from your peers very much as they all are from different background and everyone has a different mindset with some or the other quality which really helps as a student.
The quality of faculty that we have is very helpful.

Sports facilities have a scope of improvement.

To get into IIM-L here's the summary of eligibility and admission process; 1- CAT exam- the primary requirement is to appear for CAT. 2- percentile required for general candidate is about 98 and for other candidates reservation policies are followed as per government norms. 3- keep an eye on the CAT official website for the important dates. Admission process- 1- Shortlisting 2- Shortlisted candidates are required to fill a candidate information cum appplication form for that specific college 3- Interviews are conducted and the locations will be among those which you will fill while filling the CAT application form. 4- Personal interview- questions on current affairs, hometown, graduation and work ex (if any) 5- Final selection- list of selected andidates is uploaded on the website and waiting candidates are also announced,

Also winter where you will dont want to go outside of rooms
the average students who are introverts will feel some difficulty in first year

After appearing for CAT I was shortlisted for the Lucknow interview and then got admission after clearing WAT and PI. I got some extra marks for the final score for being an agriculture background. The process is smooth and I believe that Lucknow has one of the most transparent processes for admission as we know the scores of all the sections and cutoff.

I took CAT (Common Aptitude Test) for getting admission into IIM Lucknow. The application form can be found on CAT's official website. Infrastructure :The campus features a modern gymnasium , pool tables and board games in hostel along with indoor badminton court and outdoor sports facilities. Additionally, there is swimming pool, squash court and well-equipped library.

The Common Admission test (CAT) is the primary entrance exam for admission to the PGPM program. Other programs may have their specific entrance exams or criteria. IIM Lucknow's selection process can be summarized in three steps : 1. Shortlisting based on CAT percentile 2. Further shortlisting based on profile and CAT score for the WAT/PI round 3. Admission based on WAT-PI performance Selection criteria : CAT score accounts for 60% of the composite score for the WAT-PI selection process . For the MBA-SM programme at IIM Lucknow, the general category cutoff is between the 85th and 90th percentile for admission in 2024. For admission to IIM Lucknow during the WAT-PI phase, this percentile is necessary.
