I am absolutely satisfied with the college. It has superb Infrastructure,it provide thousands of opportunities for students success and improvement.Any willing student can achieve every height that he wants in life if he chose the right path. The only problem is the placements are lacking a bit from the private colleges(only the campus placements off campus are great tho).
Good 1. The infrastructure and green campus, 2. Well equipped library. 3. Good hostel facility and awesome LAN. 4. Good cultural atmosphere. Bad 1. Faculty not very enthusiastic. 2. Less practical knowledge. 3. No robotics lab and lacks some other labs to. 4. Placements average not very great. In conclusion I would if you can get into good colleges like IIT and NIT and have enough money to go to Manipal Bangalore than GBU is not for you, but if things are not working very great at the moment and you need a good government college where you can study on your own and is near companies in the NCR than GBU is for you.
GBU has its own entrance exam updated on its website, My rank was 559 in the exam through which i got seat in CSE branch in 2012. I opted this university because this is the only college where i got a seat for admission.
The university has its own exam i have score GPTU is the entrance exam conducted by the Gautam Buddha University for inviting admissions to the under graduate courses including the integrated dual degree programmes as available in the university curriculum. The candidates will be required to appear in the written test as scheduled to be held by the university for this purpose as per the directions of university. The candidates who are preparing for the concerned entrance exam can go through the details of eligibility including courses coming under its purview and syllabus respectively for appearing in the concerned exam.
There is a particular entrance exam for Gautam Buddha University for which a form is to be filled by contacting the university itself. I scored well and received rank 29th in the exam. I opted for this course because i thought this is a complete package for a person who is business minded.
The university is away from city and you might find it difficult to access basic amenities here, plus Greater Noida is still developing so you might have go go to Noida which is 25 km away from here for few thing. You can expect some development in different areas after the elections maybe but now the situation is really bad. Few movies have been shot here in the past. So if you wanna it a try you can but I would suggest you guys to join some other college cause I don't want that you all should face the situation in which i am right now.
I have qualified GBU entrance exam in 2013 and took admission because of their well qualified faculties and good infrastructure and well decorated lab. This university will be best in india in future years i hope.
Gautam Buddha University has its own entrance exam as GPTU and the score is kept private though my rank was 547. I wanted to do Engineering in Computer Science and I got it quite comfortably.
I take GPTU entrance exam, it is a self exam which is conducting by university for entrance. I get 400 rank in that exam. I opted this college because, this is a government university and it i completed 5 year integrated course (B.Tech+M.Tech) so i save 1 year.
