Dislikes

The college hostel are not good as you were paying 82000 for the 3 sheeter hostel room
The timings of the college is very bad you have to come early in the morning and get departure in the evening.
One thing i disliked about this university that is no proper time of exams

Likes

Lot of wifi facility for every department they are provided very good connection
Water cooler, and lift facilities and smart class facility
Seminar facilities and lot of activities in this college

Dislikes

Showing result in front of parents And discuss everything
Providing extra class for week, a student and clear all the doubts
This college management are very good, wearing proper uniform without uniform. Not enter in campus.

UIM is unmatched!!

Likes

We have one cafeteria and it provides food at subsidized rates.
We have a huge playground as it makes our sports need fullfill.
We also have a temple inside the campus and that is such a lovely thing to have.

Dislikes

No internship cell and that's a huge disadvantage.

UP is a sugarcane industry and therefore companies like Balrampur Chini and some RP Sanjiv Goenka Group companies were the ones who came for placements in our 5th semester. 30-35k in hand was offered to BBA students. However one of our batchmate nailed it as he got 10LPA placements with DS Group and is headed to Lucknow for work.

Students from different regions create a multicultural environment .
Classroom were decent, most had projectors or smart board.

Students typically becomes eligible for campus placements from 6th semester onwards. Pre placement talks , aptitude training and resume building , workshops start in the 5th semester . Companies like TCS , Infosys, Wipro , Cognizant , L&T technology visited my college.

College is too streect, class period time is too long.
Late coming students are not allowed in classroom.
Attendance criteria is 75 percent, which is compalsary.

Intership cradit, Project beard learning, elective flexibility.the frequency and timing of exams along with your perspective on their difficulties level is that when we attend exam time is fix of completion of exam.

IIMT among good collegea

Likes

College campus is good with good interior and exterior
Classrooms are well maintained along with smart board
Faculties are very kind and supporting. They help us in all the way possible.

Dislikes

College is highly Disciplined which gives us the feel of school
Uniform strictness is very high in this college
Unnecessary roaming is not allowed. We can't go to canteen in the class time

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester onwards, students gets eligibility for the placement. Various companies like vivo, wipro, ISGEC, Byjus appeared in the college and provide good placement. Almost 95% of mechanical engineering students gets placement.

The college faculities are good, knowledgeable and supportive..
College system is good in terms of creating a good environment.
Sufficient area and garden for relaxing .

Dislikes

Forces a lot for submission of academic fees.
Registrar department is too slow and very toxic.
Can't sit in garden areas , you are siad to leave..

A Balance campus experience with supportive Faculty and good Infrastructure

Likes

College is that you meet lots of diverse range of people
Make lifelong friends along the way with good bonding
Very strict rule in any way like attendance criteria

Dislikes

No free lecture of every week and take a all class is mandatory
School like dress is mandatory according day
The girls to boys ratio ifs 1:5 overall in my college

I would give the course curriculum are rating of 7 out of 10 as I feel it has remained unchange for sometime. Everything continue to follow the same structure with no update or modification. I would give to rating of 7 of 10 while the teaching method could be enhanced the curriculum satisfactory

My college has very good placements. Almost all the students get placed here every year. Just last year, a student got a placement worth Rs. 1.80 crore in Selfros. I don't think I won't get placed, but if that happens, I will look for a job as a software developer somewhere else.

Dr. A P J Abdul Kalam Technical University isn’t a good option for pursuing technical courses. The curriculum followed by the institute is outdated. You will only learn the theoretical aspects of engineering. It doesn’t offer the practical hands-on experience students require to excel in the technical field.

Most students usually get placed in the IT sector, irrespective of their branches. The highlights of recent AKTU placements show the average package offered by the institute to be around INR 2-3 LPA.
