Admission to B. Tech. First Year through Entrance Examination:
- Candidates who have passed Intermediate of U.P. Board or (10+2) standard from other board with Physics and Mathematics along with any one of Chemistry/Bio-Technology/Computer Science/ Biology are eligible for admission to first year of 4 year B.Tech. Courses offered by Colleges/Institutions of U.P. affiliated to Uttar Pradesh Technical University, Lucknow.
- Candidates who have passed Intermediate of U.P. Board or (10+2) standard from other board with Agriculture are only eligible for admission to first year of 4 year B.Tech. (Agriculture Engineering) offered by Colleges/Institutions of U.P. affiliated to Uttar Pradesh Technical University, Lucknow.

Annually fees of college is 75,000 . Hostel fees for girls and boys are different for girls hostel fees is 18000 which includes 16000 hostel fees and 2000 security money . Mess charge are 3000 per month which includes breakfast, lunch, evening tea and dinner. There is scholarship for all students whether they General, OBC or SC/ST which includes that their parents are not doing government job and their family income is low . Amount of scholarship depends on your caste in which category you lie General, OBC or SC/ ST and the amount scholarship you have filled.

Scholarship is also provided for 4 year approx 63500 per year recently for general category
The fees structure for most of branches is same as this government college
But 2 Branches (information technology,electrical engineering) fees are more like 78000 per year as these are self financed branch of college

The fee structure is quite good , if you have a good rank and belong from poor class family, they provide you tuition fee waiver in which you don't have to pay the tuition fee and there is a course names computer science (self-financed) in that you have to pay 10,000 extra money than other courses like chemical , civil , cs(ai) ... Hostel fee is also reasonable which is 14500 and they take 4000 as a caution money .and mess fee is 20000 per semester.

The fees structure of IET Lucknow is total tution fees is 89775 and for FW students it could might be 15000 . Now we talk about hostel fees so it is 14500 for a year and 20000 mess fees for 6 months. There may be increment in mess fees because last year mess was 17000 but this they increase 3000 so it is expected that they will increase the mess fees next year . There is same fees for all category. In scholarship everyone gets easily. General obc gets 60k - 70k and sc / st gets 100k approx

- The college is autonomous so, the college faculty designs its own curriculum according to the students' needs.
- As it is a government college, the course fee is affordable and reasonable.
Dislikes
- Except for the CSE branch, almost every branch has a tough academic life here.

The annual fee for the B.Tech program for all years is 84,775 which includes Tuition fees, examination fees, user charges and TPC fees.
This fee is applicable to all categories.
The hostel fess is around 14,500 annually and 20K mess fee per semester and 4K Hostel Management fee for odd semester is to be paid separately
The scholarship provided to general and obc category students is around 50K-55K while for SC, ST category it is 95K-98K.

So for the tuition fees,I have to pay 84,500 per year and 5,000 is always pay as a security only in the first year where you get this money after completion of our course. If you residing in the hostel you have to pay 14,500 as hostel fees and 4,000 as a hostel management fees and also mess fees 19,000.
Some students also get scholarship which may varies to their caste for OBC they get scholarship nearly 56,000 for generally 60,000 and for ST/SC the amount may be 1,00,000 for some cases

Normally the tution fees remains same for all the year according to the mentioned fee at the time of admission, and the hike depends upon the government budget as mentioned for all the government institute in India or Uttar Pradesh particularly. Also we are available for up government scholarship for which special committee is designed.
