Course Description
B.Tech. Biotechnology stands for Bachelor of Technology in Biotechnology. It is an under-graduate engineering program. Biotechnology is said to be a combination of biology and technology and it is an applied science.
The basic eligibility for this course is a pass in 10+2 with subjects like mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology etc.
Like all engineering courses, the duration for this course is 4 years. The average tuition fees for this course is 1, 20,000 INR to 10, 50,000 INR.
After completing B.tech in biotechnology students can get jobs into chemical and textile industries, agricultural sectors, pharmaceutical firms and manufacturing industries. They can also get jobs in research laboratories run by government or private sectors. The average salary will be about 5, 00,000 INR. The salary may vary according to the companies.
What is Biotechnology?
Biotechnology seeks to study Biology from a technological perspective. It is the study of biological processes and their utilization for industrial purposes such as studying microorganisms and utilize the knowledge for development of antibiotics, medicines etc.

It is a multi-disciplinary course and utilizes concepts of Biology and Technology to develop trained professionals for the field of Biotechnology. Eligibility Criteria
Admission to B. Tech. First Year through Entrance Examination:
- Candidates who have passed Intermediate of U.P. Board or (10+2) standard from other board with Physics and Mathematics along with any one of Chemistry/Bio-Technology/Computer Science/ Biology are eligible for admission to first year of 4 year B.Tech. Courses offered by Colleges/Institutions of U.P. affiliated to Uttar Pradesh Technical University, Lucknow.
- Candidates who have passed Intermediate of U.P. Board or (10+2) standard from other board with Agriculture are only eligible for admission to first year of 4 year B.Tech. (Agriculture Engineering) offered by Colleges/Institutions of U.P. affiliated to Uttar Pradesh Technical University, Lucknow.

Where takes fees 70000 per year And where tuition fees 25000 and registration fees near about 8000 admission fees 5000 And lab fees 500 per month Total cast of fees 70000 se 80000 . And fees structure divided categories by like obc ,gen, and sc ,st Where obc and gen pay 70000 se80000 and sc , st pay below 70000 . And scolership get based on cast , Where obc and gen get 50000 nad sc ,st get 70000

- They focus on soft skills also and try to make a student extrovert

- they mostly focus on theoretical learning
- Don’t organize any trips and fest on regular basis

The first year fees of Btech course in my college is 1 lakh 45 thousand which also includes admission fees and security adn rest of the 3 year my college fees is 1 lakh 20 thousand which includes all the activities like lab , games and all and for SC/ST student they got an scholarship upto 75000 per anum

- Faculty in our college is experienced and well educated they help us in problem solving.
Dislikes
- Nothing but college timings from morning to Evening is long.
- Any account work is not done at time we can wait for any work.

- Local people was not good most of students faced same problem

82000 I paid in my college per year Tution fee in my college was 72000, exam fees was in my college 8000 and another registration fees was 500 , and my hostel fees was 50000 and was available good facilities in my college but also provided 70% scholarship by state government

- The fees are quite high as compared to other colleges.
Fees and Financial Aid:
The fees are annually basis and the sub total fees of course for 4 tears is 200000. The fee breakdown is 50000 per year which have to oay before end sem examination for the Admit card. There is Scholarship too which is provided by state government.

I am currently paying 198000 yearly for btech in biotechnology , registration fees is 30000rs and i have received no scholarships as i scored very low in my class 12th exams. I have also availed hostel facility and paying 164000 yearly

- Senior junior interaction as there is no ragging in the campus.
- The teachers are very helpful and very learned
Dislikes
- The college does not provide internship opportunities
- There is no provision of NOC before the completion of seventh semester
Fees and Financial Aid:
The first year Fees is 114000 out of which 10000 is the caution fees, 10000 is the sports activities fees , and rest in tuition fees , lab and Library fees. The students scoring 80%-85% gets a reimbursement of 10000 rupees and above 85% gets reimbursement of 45000 rupees yearly in the fees. The scholarship form the government is also there which is around 50-55 thousand rupees per year starting from 2nd year.

- You can't get much leave have a proper emergency reason for leave

Fee is about 90000-100000 and every category scholarships has different type of amount and eligibility for scholarship is above 60% in class 12 and based on parents occupation the students who are eligible they definitely get the scholarship

- Library is fully maintained and have updated book collection for academics preparation.
Dislikes
- Hod of biotechnology department is quite rude.
- Infrastructure is not good , table chair are broken
Fees and Financial Aid:
Fees at KSVCEM is very affordable at good acdemic opportunities, if you have appeared for uptu exam and also you are female candidate you will get girls quota and receive discount upto 15-18k . Otherwise fees is around 50-60000/annually.
