BHU M.P.Ed is offered as 2 Years Full Time program, with total intake of 49 seats. The minimum eligibility criteria for M.P.Ed is Graduation. The total fees for BHU M.P.Ed in 2025 is ₹ 6,000 for the complete course duration, which includes total tuition fees of ₹ 6,000. Earlier, the fees in 2024 - 2025 for M.P.Ed was ₹ 11,728.

BHU Hostel Fee for Male is ₹ 5,375.

There shall be a reservation of 15% in each category of total seats for female candidates in B. P. Ed and M. P. Ed. If sufficient numbers of Female candidates are not available the allocated Female seats may be filled by Male Candidates.

Aspirant seeking admission in 2-year full-time Master of Physical Education [M.P.Ed] must have passed Bachelor of Physical Education (B.P.Ed.) with at least 50% marks in the aggregate. OR Four years Bachelor of Physical Education (Professional) Degree securing at least 50% marks in the aggregate.

NOTE:

(i) Only B.P.Ed. courses approved by the NCTE will be recognized as equivalent to the B.P.Ed. Degree of Banaras Hindu University.

(ii) No bonus marks are provided for the candidates appearing for M.P.Ed.
