- Duration: NIT Agartala offers M.Sc for a duration of 2 years which is further divided into 4 semesters.
- Specialization: M.Sc is offered across 3 disciplines: Mathematics & Computing, Physics and Chemistry.
- Course Structure: The coursework of all M.Sc specializations is divided into 4 semesters each of 6 months duration. All courses include core courses, electives, project work, viva-voce and seminars. Core Courses are mostly taught in first and second semesters of the program while candidates are given the choices to choose from elective courses from third semester onwards. Project, Seminars and Viva-Voce are taught in the final semester of the course. Apart from these, labs are to be performed in M.Sc Physics and M.Sc Mathematics.
