The college atmosphere is very good and they maintain very clean environment facilities.the feild trip is very exciting and that same time its related to the course
There will be a scholarship based on the merit that they have scored in their past 11th and 12th standard and according to their merit, the scholarship will be decided.
The faculty of the university is very good and gentle towards the students and they are very good intaractive with students and they are more effective to provide the quality education to the students

Dislikes

There are 5 hostel for boys and 3 for girls and food was very worst and i don't like it.
Food that provided in hostels will be sometimes very bad rhat we cant eat.
That i don't like we have no proper internet and no water in blocks

A small review of kalasalingam university

Likes

Good faculty and the labs are enabled with high speed systems
Good environment and the hostel rooms are also very good
The teaching staff is highly qualified and better understanding

Dislikes

Weak network connection for some networks
Hostel food was not good but the canteens are available inside the university
There is no monthly events only studies and labs

Placement Experience:

The student are eligible for the campus placement from ther 5th and 6th semester and the university is collaborated with many companies like Capgemini tcs zohoand many more And the highest package was 5100000

Fair review

Likes

First years block(11th block) . It is well furnished block among the all blocks.
Tifa core(6th block) which is so suitable for taking pictures.
Greenary and infrastructure, pollution free campus

Dislikes

No more places are there for chilling out with friends
Less events will be conducted in the campus.
More rules and restrictions for girls in ladies hostel

The course curriculum will be changed two years once or every year once. Now we have more online platforms for many programming languages like codethantra for java, codechef for SQL, colab for machine learning.

The surrounding around college are heart warming and calm . The environment is very greenary and surrounded by mountains with beautiful trees.The campus is very large and have each blocks for every department. clg has swimmingpool and physical depart
In campus there are many canteens. canteen before 8th block which is famous for chicken samosa and tea. There are various canteen like nalabakam and sodexo. And there is also canteen before 11th block and there are many shops near mens hostel seven
Library in college has very nice infrastructure and has very vast amount of books and are related to various technologies and various departments and nice infrastructure in 11th block. The classes in the 11th block are very good .

Dislikes

The food was not good at all in the hostels and they dont maintain the neatness correctly in the kitchen
The college is too far from Native place and there is no proper train facilities to the college

Placement Experience:

In our college they had trained for placements from 3 rd year second sem and there are several companies visit our college they may give demo classes and they may explain about aptitude round and coding rounds.

The fee structure for this college is very reasonable
The scholarship which given by our college is very affordable for us.
Our college is good in academics and sports

Dislikes

The food is not good for the andhra people
The placements are average as compared to other colleges
The infrastructure structure is not so good.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course I have selected is computer science and engineering (AIML) . The curriculum is good but the computer science and engineering students are many in our college compared to other branches.the other branches like ECE, EEE, Civil are very less strength.

Likes

all teaching faculty are well trained and good teaching
fully wifi enabled labs with air conditioning setup
there will be monthly hackthons and compitions o test your skills learned

Dislikes

no good network coverage for jio sim but the hostels are wifi enabled with daily limit of 5gb
charging money from the students for the cultural events
the hostel food is the worst thing in the hostels for the students from worst states

Placement Experience:

our university is offering the nice percentage of placements with the percentage 75% percentage and the highest package is 51lpa and the lowest is 4 lpa the the average package is 6 - 9 lpa and the university is associated eith so many companies like wipro,capgemeni,tcs ...etc

In college maximum of the faculties are almost doctorates
In our college hands on teaching is good
Students are not only from one state so we may build our network easily

Dislikes

Network is very low and we may need to use the college wifi and the limit for wifi is 5gb data only
Charging money from the students for the cultural activities

In our college they may start the placement training in the third year and they may explain how to attend the college placements and they may give training for entering into the rounds based on the coding challanges and they may explain that how attend the interviews and in our college i may noticed that there are many companies may come to our college

Likes

It is very secure for girls and need to follow the dress code
There are various student chapters which conducts the various coding competitions and hackathon which provides the platform for students to showcase their talent.
there are many clubs that conducts the flash mob and trips that students can explore the nature

Dislikes

not allowed for outing and even not permitted to enter to college permises in holidays
less encouragement in sports and less extra curricular activities

Placement Experience:

nearly 1000 students were placed in the companies like Hexaware, TCS , cognizent , capgemini,,Zoho, amadeus. Amadeus offered 12 LPA and UPS offered 8 LPA . average package is 3.5 . placemets are very good

About Our KARE

Likes

Our college has a special Category called experential electives which can be cleared by participating in hackathons
our college will provide international oppurtunities like 2+2 to study abroad and a sem exchange

Dislikes

In our college Cultural activities are very less but it is improving now rather than before

the placements in our college is very good. although they have backlogs and arrears the colleg is trying to provide free seats in institutes which can train the students and provide placement oppurtunities

Likes

There are many aspects the college environment.
From this college people gets engaged easily
Faculty are also good at teaching with good efforts

Dislikes

Some facilities i don't like that some times water .
Network also somewhat it needs to be improved
Some times girls also should be allowed to go out

The eligibility for the placement is probably based on their talent and interest from the final year onwards. There will be plenty of companies visiting for recurting the students at present also many students got placed

When it comes to Faculty they are mostly highly Educated and Research members with Doctorates
During Semester Examination they considered not only theory examinations ,Every one must have to build a mini project for Core Subject marks Evaluation this will helps as to improve practical knowledge on Subject
As per University Guidelines for getting Degree Certification we need to participate on various Events to complete Credits ,This mainly helps students to Socialize and Handling the real world compition

Dislikes

First main this is other than Tamilnadu State Students it is very hard to Adjust with food habits

We can Start our Job Hunting from our 6 th semester onwards and even during 6th Semester College is going train us for Placement preparation and most of big tech companies are comming to our college few of them are TCS, Accenture, Capgemini, Wipro etc.. Average packages got by 2024 batch is around 6.5 LPA and when its comes to placement percentage its around 60% of Students are placed during campus interviews itself

What is your review of Kalasalingam University?

A few of my friends graduated from Kalasalingam University. According to them, the college offers decent academics and infrastructural facilities.

The college is accredited by UGC. Teaching is mostly examination-oriented.
Classes and examinations are conducted on time. You will need to maintain 80% attendance to sit in the examination.
Most faculties are friendly.
In college premises, students need to maintain proper dressing. Wearing jeans isn’t allowed for both boys and girls. Girls are only allowed to wear churidar and shawl.
The hostel accommodation is decent. The 1st year hostels are separate. Hostel rooms have an occupancy of 3 people. The rooms have all basic amenities. The rooms and washrooms are well-maintained and cleaned regularly. Food offered at the mess is decent.

The reviews of the students are not usually bad. But when you compare Kalasalingam University to other more established universities, it lags a bit behind in the college rankings. But the college rankings are not given by students, so their views vary.

This college really has good facilities, a huge library, green campus, etc. They also have a well experienced and highly cooperative faculty. The college might have some faults which is why the NIRF ranking is not good. But other than that it is quite a good college with sufficient amenities.
