- Ambience and the staff who are very kind and knowlegdable .

- I heard college hostels have worst services u have very little freedom for yourself

placement are not miuch as core company for aeronautical students but where as for the students of cse and other departmwebts thgere are a lot of placements and many companies visit for placements at our collage

- Type of teaching is different and adaptable
- Campus is outstanding and no drawbacks on it

- Management is worse I hated it in my college years
Course Curriculum Overview:
I wrongly took this course and I regret doing it now . They prepare us very well for the placement and v have training for placements frequently . Treat everyone equally Timing of the exam is 3hrs and it's more than enough

- We have plenty of aircrafts, helicopters and the lab facilities are top notch

- The faculty prefers to speak in Tamil they’re very weak in English
- The climate in Chennai is awful no ac is provided

Students can apply for placements from 3rd year We have indigo Boeing mainly Highest would be 10 lakh lowest would be 1lakh Very few students get placed as most prefer masters and don't sit for placements I'll also be going for masters

Course Curriculum Overview:
The course curriculum is in the way of all the necessary needs for the degree I choose. The teaching methods are good and we are able to answer all the questions in the exam so from that itself we can know that the teaching is good

- Love the ambience and the labs in college. Extremely suitable for practical applications
- It’s very free and the students have a lot of freedom
Dislikes
- The hostel from what I’ve heard from friends are very bad
- The teachers in first year of college is horrible after you get into your specific department. It is excellent
Placement Experience:
Placement comes after 7th sem for a four year course and 5th sem for a 3 year course . IBM have a partnership with Hindustan. Volkswagen and Ashok leyland also visited . My plan after my degree is to start a business
Likes
- I personally like the infrastructure of the college. We have different blocks with spacious classrooms along with lift.
- The staffs are too friendly, having a good relationship with the staff during the course is very important.
Dislikes
- The price of the things inside the college is high.
Placement Experience:
From the third year the students become eligible for the campus placements. The college provides better placements from top companies like Boeing, DRDO, HAL and many more. The average package is around 4.5 to 5 lakhs per annum. Many students get placed .
Likes
- Our college has good laboratories for aeronautical, aerospace, mechanical, mechatronics, and automobile.
- It has a good library with huge no of books
Dislikes
- You will have minimal number of fests. To be frank dont expect fest from our college
- Recently many senior staff has resigned. University didnt do anything to stop them from going. They are filling those senior roles with new professors who dont have that much experience as compared to professors who left the univ
Placement Experience:
As for my batch we had good placements. Students are eligible for placements from 6th semester. Since my department is aeronautical we have less companies visited. 4 companies visited (boeing, indigo, saffron, capgemini). We got packages ranging from 9 lpa to 4.5 lpa. With an average of 6lpa. Nearly 60 to 70 students got placed outof 210 students.
Likes
- Infrastructure of the college is good and it is beautiful
- There are trees every where in the college
Dislikes
- Some of the faculty tey are very rude towards the students not many of faculty only some of them
- Attendance is their main target to collect money from the students
Placement Experience:
In our college the placement drive is taking seriously now days,so many companies are arriving to our college and the average package Is about 4.5 lakhs and about 20 to 30 companies are coming and going,and also so many students are planning to go abroad after their engineering to do their masters
Likes
- This campus has been in providing aeronautical engineering since the 1980s is one of the best private colleges for the course
- There are many aircraft and engine in the campus
Dislikes
- There is no proper body to take action for the students problems
Placement Experience:
The placement is average even though there are very good companies coming but they only take 10-15 members. The strength of Aeronautics engineering is 400. We have companies like Boeing with provide 7 Lpa and Indigo with provide 3.5-6 LPA. This year we are expecting more companies to come.

What is your review of Hindustan University?
Overall, Hindustan University is average at best.
- The quality of education offered is not good. Most faculty members are fresh graduates and don’t have much experience.
- The institute doesn’t have a good infrastructure. Although the institute claims to offer a good Aeronautical or Aerospace program, they don’t have good facilities or faculties to back up the claim. Besides a subsonic wind tunnel and four broken-down plans, the department offers zero facilities.
- Hindusthan University fees are pretty steep. The B.Tech Aeronautical Engineering program costs around INR 14.39 Lakhs.
- The institute doesn’t offer any internships or co-op opportunities to students. The placement opportunities offered aren’t worth the high course fee.
The college lacks basic amenities that are essential for the overall growth of the students.
