- The course is good and you can get a scholarship as mentioned and also people are present for scholarships and other offers for getting your fees reduced and campus placement is also good and facilities are also good
- Faculty members are so friendly and good faculty and student ratio is 1:60 that is pretty good faculty is so friendly and frequent they so good with proper communication faculty are nice and educated they are well educated and free
- Big companies like boeing and indigo comes for placement and campus interview
Dislikes
- Some teachers are likely to be bad people in general and don't understand the students troubles
- This college has some of the worst services when it comes to due fees, semester results , attendance shortage etc... Their ERP system is trash and they need to work on it
- The fees department charges you extra unjustified charges.

I chose Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science mainly because my family is from Chennai. Also I did not very well in JEE. Fortunately, HITS has its own entrance exam and I was able to do well and get into my choice of program. To sit for the exam, HITSEEE I had to have a pass in (10+2) or equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and had to obtain at least 50% marks in the above subjects taken together with minimum of 60% in Mathematics. HITS is also ranked very highly - 4th in Chennai, 11th in Tamil Nadu and 30th in All India among Private Engineering Institutions, as far as I remember.

I want to be specialist in Cyber Security so I have applied in different universities but I got the selection letter first from Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science which is one of the best universities for B.Tech programme in Chennai. To take admission I have filled up the application from through the website hindustanunvi.ac.in and finally got selected by giving the Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science Engineering Entrance exam (HITSEEE)

Due to my fathers job posting in Chennai, we had to move here and I didn't want to live away from my family, so I started looking for institutes in Chennai where I could pursue my B.Tech program, so I shortlisted a few and applied to them and was lucky enough to get into this one. Before getting accepted, I had give an online entrance test, HITSEEE which I barely qualified. As for the application form, I had to pay fill it properly and send the same back with a DD for Rs.1200.

Placement Experience:
One can eligible for placements from the 7th semester. As it is aviation industry placements are less for this industry compared to others many of the students will opt for higher studies. Many big aero industries will offer placements around 6 LPA.

Placement Experience:
From 3 years which is from 5th-semester students are eligible for campus placements. There are several companies that visit our campus like HAL, DRDO, ISRO, NAL, Accenture, Wipro, HCL, IBM, TCS, Oracle, Google, etc. The highest package on our campus went up to 3.5 crores per anum and the avg package is about 9 Lac per anum.
Almost 90% of students get college placements. My own plan is to go for higher studies abroad.

It has nice reviews from the seniors and also for mechanical engineering labs are the main and we had a good infrastructure in our labs and also they provide scholarship for the students who got the 90 percentage in intermediate

It's good for students who have cleared in all papers.Less number of core companies for other departments when compared to cs and It department and that too only students who are very good at their respective fields are getting qualified while the others future remains unsaid

The infrastructure of our college is good. There is a safe environment for everyone. It is one of the top institutions for aeronautical and aviation students with flight displays and engine labs. There is a large library with a very good choice of books with world-class facilities. Near to my house.

Placement Experience:
There is no bother about placements in our college,
Every year there are more than 80 companies will visit our college for placements.
In 2019, the highest package is 26 lakhs per annum to the cse student from Zoho company
And an average of 8 lakhs per annum.
Due to healthy information gaining in our college, here talent is more preferable than study.
Famous companies like amazon,Zoho,HCL, Infosys, etc will visit our campus every time.
Courses which get Highest package are AERONAUTICS,AERODYNAMICS,CSE,IT
And you can take other courses and learn programming languages separately.
You can go out of campus for placements.
But as you see in the surrounding college, other college students like saveetha, Bharathi comes to our college for placements.

the university is widely accepted for the authentic education provided over here. the campus infrastructure is great. the management and faculty are friendly.the placement opportunities provided are handful.

Overall, Hindustan University is average at best.
- The quality of education offered is not good. Most faculty members are fresh graduates and don’t have much experience.
- The institute doesn’t have a good infrastructure. Although the institute claims to offer a good Aeronautical or Aerospace program, they don’t have good facilities or faculties to back up the claim. Besides a subsonic wind tunnel and four broken-down plans, the department offers zero facilities.
- Hindusthan University fees are pretty steep. The B.Tech Aeronautical Engineering program costs around INR 14.39 Lakhs.
- The institute doesn’t offer any internships or co-op opportunities to students. The placement opportunities offered aren’t worth the high course fee.
The college lacks basic amenities that are essential for the overall growth of the students.
