I got 362 marks in BITSAT. Which is better, BITS, Pilani electrical or BITS, Goa CS?

Well, assuming that your 1st preference is CS at Pilani. EEE at Pilani is arguably one of the most difficult branches out there. Based on the conversations I had with my friends from both the BITS campus, here is what I can tell you about the courses. You generally have to compete with the top students on the Campus. Also, the EEE course material is not everyone's cup of tea. The EEE placements are quite good, though not for everyone. There are more high pointers in EEE than in any other branch. Thus good companies prefer to hire from among those. Placements might be better for CS at Goa, though in some other respects you might sell yourself short with this choice. BITS PILANI : A PORT FOR SUCESS

The BITS Pilani fee structure differs according to year you take admission in. Like for me in 2024-25 one time admission fees was 57,100Rs and refundable caution deposit of 3000Rs is to be paid. The tution fees per semester is 2,59,500Rs, with an estimated 5% annual hike. Other mandatory charges are a student union fee of 450Rs and a student aid fund contribution of 225Rs per year. Hostel fees are 28,800Rs per semester. For reserved students like SC/ST, BITS Pilani does not have a different fee structure. Also BITS have merit-cum-need scholarship which offers upto 80% fee waiver. It is applicable for ews and students having top 3% CGPA.

The approx fee is 6,00,000 per annum. Tution fee is 2,20,000 per semester. Admission fee is 50,000.hostel and mess charges include 25,000 per semester. There is no reservation in our college so fee is same for everyone. 2 types of scholarships Merit: for top 1% (acc to cgpa) -100% concession on tution fee, for top 3% -80% concession on tution fee. -My fee is 2 lakhs per year, so for the 4 years my fee would be 8lakhs, if doesn't increase. -Till now i paid 300000 as i have completed my 1st year and now i am in 2nd year. -Including all my extra fees likes tution,registration,lab and other charges i have to pay another 50000

BITS Pilani, it's Tragic

The tution fee is 5.2 lacs and the hostel fee is 1.05 lacs appx. The fee is same for everyone and there is no reservation based on anything. Scholarships upto 100% are provided both on "merit" and "merit-cum-need" basis. Also there is no Management Quota.

Fees is increasing, scholarship is on percentage basis so it's staying the same. Fees is quite high as it's a private College, it's still outrageous though. However, good performance is rewarded with very high scholarship and competition is quite high
