I.K. Gujral Punjab Technical University Jalandhar Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

We all know that science stream students want computer science and engineering degree that's why I'm pursuing this degree in this university. Our university improve their management and their teaching methods.

Placements are not that great in this college are average package is around 3.5 LPA which is not great. Many companies like cognizant Infosys WiproZ scaler come, but they do not offer good packages. The highest was once given by Z scale 14,00,000

7th semester students become eligible for campus placement.there is only service based company like TCS,Z-scaller etc are visited here .there is less student getting placed.student take off campus package 24 lakh and on campus package is 9 lakh per year is the highest package and the average package is 3 lakh per year .My plans after getting degree is prepare for upsc exam.

the avarage placement of the campus is 2.5 lpa . but as the development increses day by day , i hope the campus placement may increase , because my companies are attracting towards our campus due to some innovations.

Placement in this University is moderate. Last year a package of 12 lpa was offered and you can expect a total 4 lpa to 6lpa. I don't have proper idea of companies visited but I think cognizat, L&T, wipro, TCS etc etc. placement wise college isn't very good. I want to start a business after my degree.I don't have very much hopes from the college so I'll try getting off campus placement

Campus placement int the college is below avg.Though there is no rigid data about the placement but avg placement is somewhre aroung 3lpa and ratio in campus placement is less. Although I wll apply for campus placement but my preferce is off campus placement and also there not at all internship oppurtuniteis provoided by the college .

Placements of university is quite good but not that much. Every year various companies visit university for hiring students. Almost 70 percentage of student able to get placed with good placements. In hiring process student from 7th semester are allowed to participate in it.

The placements here is average with average package ranging from 6 lac to 4 lac. The highest package offered during 2023 placements was 19.5 lacs by ZScaler. Several companies visits each year for placements opportunities like Zaro Education, JJ Jonex, Zscaler, eNest Technologies, etc. My personal goal for the future is to grab a good placements from the university as the competition is relatively low.

I think after 7th semester student or eligible for placement in universities companies like companies like that scalar TCS cognizant etc visit highest package offer 2022 was 18 lb by z scaler low placement

Placement condition is not that great in IKGPTU. The one who got pakage of 20 Lpa are all off campus and those students do not have any connection with placement cell. It is all outcomes of effort made on individual level. From 6th semester students are eligible for campus placement there are some companies who do visit like cognizant, Infosys, tcs, and startups there average offer usually hold at Rs 4-6 lpa and the highest come from cognizant around Rs 12-14 Lpa . After my addmission i have seen a senior from mechanical got Rs 24 LPA off campus and A cse senior got Rs 12 Lpa. But current scenarios are not that positive and vibrant :( . Many students have planned to give try to government exams or take try in off campus or do there own startups. For now thats all i can say.
