Aspirants seeking admission to 3-year Full-time Ph.D. program should have a Master’s degree in the relevant subject with a minimum of 60% marks (55% for SC/ST/OBC/PWD) from a recognized university. Candidate must have some financial assistance such as NET-JRF, financial assistance from Govt. agencies {Like Rajiv Gandhi National Fellowship (RGNF), Maulana Azad National Fellowship (MANF), etc.} and working in CUPB projects with fellowships. NET-JRF will be exempted from the test, however, they have to appear in the interview.

Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must hold a Master’s degree in a relevant subject to be eligible for admissions with minimum 60% marks from a recognised University.
Admissions are done on the basis of merit in qualifying entrance exam. To qualify CUCET 2020, the cut off mark is 40% (5% relaxation for reserved category)
Students with scores in UGC NET will be exempted from appearing for CUCET. Interview is mandatory for all selected students for final admissions
