Scholarship like post-matric scholarship, e-medhbruti, kalia scholarship etc are available.
Teachers are well, good and caring. they make us feel like a school.
I like many things in my college. our class room is awesome . i do like very much.. our library is such a good library.

Dislikes

I don't like many things in college. Such worse environment in our college. Always people try to quarrel in with us.
Food of the canteen is very bad also not a single shop is in the 125acres of campus
There is always problem on water and electricity

professors are friendly and help research. start up ideas are also supported.
the college boasts of an excellent placement cell which has something for everyone.
the overall discipline is excellent inside the campus.

Dislikes

some branches like mba is not that good like civil or mechanical
discipline is too much inside the campus. there should be more relaxation.
freedom for hostellers is less . they only get outing once a week.

Placement Experience:

from 7th semester onwards the placement cell gets into action and the entire process of first training theh students for interviews and tests starts at the college itself. it has a well equipped training centre for the same and well qualified professionals for this job.

GIET AND IT'S INSIGHTS

Likes

Encouragement for different sports like cricket, volleyball, basketball, badminton etc.
Ragging is prohibited and no student gets dragged in the campus
Teaching staffs are so helpful as they helps in the class as well as in their leisure.

Dislikes

The place where college is situated, is a remote area ,so there is no exposure for talent except studies.
There is a very minimal scope for students to showcase their extracurricular activities.
Strength of students is very high as compared to facilities and faculties.

Placement Experience:

From 6th semester students are eligible for campus placements.The companies which visits every year are TCS, Qualtech, Cognizant etc. which offers an average package of 8-9 lacs per annum and almost 90% students are placed every year. My plan is to appear GATE exam and approach in a govt. organization like SAIL, HAL etc.

Likes

College faculties are very supportive and good , college also supports in co curricular activities
For those who talents this college gives sufficient opportunities.
No ragging is taken by seniors or any harrasment.

Dislikes

Infrastructure can be developed more .
Placement improvement is needed although college is improving year by year.
The campus is highly appreciated but some blank areas can be used.

Placement Experience:

From 6th semester students are eligible for campus placement. Many companies like TATA , INFOSYS , EVA etc. companies are compnig. Highest of 12-13 LPA is taken and average of 7-8 LPA. Almost 60% students are getting placed.

The reality of the education providers

Likes

The surroundings and nature are the only things of giet that are appropriate and other than that everything needs to be improved
Cultural activities and participation of students
The serenity of the nature and the courage in students

Dislikes

Everything here needs to be improved as soon as possible
Management is literally trash and the most disadvantageous thing of giet
There is a lot of partiality here and that can't be declined

I like the the most about the college accomodation.
I like about the college study and the teachers.

Dislikes

I do not like about the college strictness.
I do not like the rule regulations of the college and hostel.
I don't like the food quality of the hostel.

Placement Experience:

From 6th semester students become eligible for campus placements. The campus visited are TCS and Infosys and Mahindra. The highest package is 270000 and the Lowest package is 300000 . The 80 percentage of students got the job.

Placement is good.About 60 to 70 percent of students placed . Average package is around 5lakh and highest package is around 12lakh. Placement cell is also help students in placement. CSE placement is 90 percent

The lectures are also very good and interesting.
The environment of the college I like the most.
The infrastructure and the course curriculum is very good.

Dislikes

I don't like the food quality of the hostel.
I don't like the strictness for everything.
I dislike about the overload assignment and the study pressure.

From 6th semester students become eligible for campus placements. TCS, Infosys , Mahindra Companies visited to our college and many numbers of offers made. 2700000 is the highest and 400000 average package as per company and profiles offered

College of my dreams

Likes

I like the infrastructure, management system.
The faculty members are very knowledgeable.
The overall academic structure is impressive.

Dislikes

Gym is not there which is essential for physical fitness.
More cleanliness can be achieved by extra efforts.
Assignments project take most of the time of ours.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This course always inspired me to be a engineer. The syllabus meets my demands and is essential for my foundation. More practical curriculum activities can be included in the course. Exams held in every six months.

I appreciate Rules and regulations... Guidance.. lectures.. i think the food management and bus timing management need to improve
My engagement with campus life is better than expected.. good nature i got to be calm with all the problems but social interaction is not good as free as expected
Teaching methods are moderate still i like all all faculties are good .. with great mentorship

Dislikes

Less things i found for career advancement
Infrastructure is that much good having no place to keep discussions with mates
Personal development is so difficult to be with in such area

From 6th sem student prepare for placements.. and get generally... No idea about companies visit and offers made as I'm a 2nd year student... Highest package 29lakh for 3 students previous year.. around 70% students got placement... My plans after getting degree is higher study... So I'm worried about placement... Or if no campus placement...

Likes

The First thing which I liked about my college is i.e Location, The location of my college is very calm and beautiful and also surrounded by some mountains which looks very beautiful during rainy days .
The Second thing about my college which I liked is the teachers of my department . They are always supportive and very motivated persons
The third thing is that the students of this college because they know that aur college is not so popular but they try to do new things and betterment for college.

Dislikes

The thing I dislike about my college is the system and management
Not so co operative about any kind social events or puja events

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I always want to be an Engineer and in core department For this I choose this course. This curriculum prepare me well for this real world as this is the real field where you can acquainted with this competitive environment As a Mechanical Engineer there are many areas to set your carrier very easily and happily. Our College exams occur in between 4 mnth duration . So it's very challenging and exciting to prepare for this exam and also do some other curricular creatives for your future.
