NEHU M.Sc Environmental Science: Fees 2025, Course Duration, Dates, Eligibility

To apply for admission, candidates must complete an online application, pay a fee, and submit required documents to the department either in person or by post. Admission is based on graduation marks and entrance exam performance, held at NEHU Shillong campus. Results are announced within a week, and those on the first merit list can secure their spots by paying the course fees. The faculty comprises experienced professionals who support students in pursuing research and PhD opportunities.

The course fees are affordable, with the first semester costing 4500 INR, the second 1800 INR, and the third 2600 INR. The fourth semester fee is expected to be similar. Hostel accommodation costs 150 INR monthly, with mess fees at 1700 INR. While this department doesn't offer placement or internships, industrial visits are included if necessary; other departments do provide these opportunities. PhD students receive stipends ranging from 8,000 to 10,000 INR, dependent on their field of study.

The university offers various scholarships, including a universal 3000 INR per year scholarship for all students and additional scholarships for minorities and tribes from the North East, provided by the Government of Meghalaya.
