campus placements are okay, it is improving over time... averagely people get placed at 7-8 lpa and some people get placed at 12lpa. Many students go for off campus placements and there they perform very well. students have secured 22- 28lpa off campus.

From the first semester itself, the students can be a part of campus placement. I have no idea about the companies visited but I Heard that every year some international companies visits to offer some jobs. I have no idea about the highest and average package of the job which is offered by companies I can say 50-60 percent of the students gets a placement who applied for the job I will be doing masters or I will be starting my own business and if you want to help me then please mail me so that i can start from now and i want to start as early as possible.

University life for students

Placement Experience:

The university also have placement apportunity if not everyone gets also. The final semester students use to get the placement which is around 3.80LPA. Some of the company that visited like Amazon,Dell, Indian army , Accenture and so on and so fall. Most of the placement get by the excellent students and Excel in the study most of them are science students from B.tech and all. My plan after my degree is going to be tough but I will appear for competitive exams.

THE PLACEMENT OPPORTUNITIES ARE QUITE LESS AND HIGHEST PACKAGE IS COMPARATIVELY LOW AS ENGINEERS. THE HIGHEST PACKAGE FOR THIS YEAR WAS 800000 WHICH IS NOT TOO SATISFYING. ALSO VERY LESS STUDENTS ARE HIRED AND CHOSEN LEAVING MAJORITY STUDENTS.

Placement Experience:

PLACEMENT OOPORTUINITIES HERE ARE NOT THAT SATISFYING. HOWEVER IT IS ALSO DIFFICUKT TO QUALIFY FOR THE INTERVIEWS AS 8.00 CGPA IS MANDATORY TO APPEAR IN INTERVIEWS. MAXIMUM OF 20 STUDENTS ARE PLACED EVRY YEAR WITH THE HIHEST PACKAGE OF 800000 PER ANNUM AND LOWEST PACKAGE OF 2.5 LAKHS PER ANNUM. MAJORITY STUDENTS ARE LEFT UNHIRED EVEN THOUGH THEY QUALIFY FOR THE INTERVIEWS. COMPAMIES LIKE AMZON,TCS, PURSUIT SOFTWARE,CORIZO EDUTECH,INDIGO AIRLINES,ETC VISIT US AND HIRE THE STUDENTS. ON THE 8TH SEMSESTER STUDNETS ARE ELIGIBLE FOR APPEARING IN CAMPUS PLACEMENT INTERVIEWS. AROUND 40% STUDENTS ARE HIRED IN THE ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT OF NEHU COMBINING ALL 4 BRANCHES.
