- I like the sports fest named as vihang which is conducted for mtech and phd students
Dislikes
Placement Experience:
Placements are starts from 3rd semester and almost everyone get 1 offer . All type of compnies visited such as core,it and analytics. The minimum 5lpa to max 14 lpa package can be achieved in core branches.

- Academic was good. Specially first year faculty members were very good.
- Cultural activities and extra curriculam activities were involved in first year.
- Library facility was good, we had enogh books for access and rferences.
Dislikes
- Placement acivities were not at all. We had no incampus placement facilty at all.
- Few faculty members were very partial towards rich students and they were somewhat biased.
- Feedback mechanism was no there, there was only one way communication.
Course Curriculum Overview:
It wasnot very much practical. Although there were laboratory classes but educators were mostly focused on theoreticals only. Lab assistant and technical staves were not very good in their job. My only focus was getting good marks.

- Have separate department for structural engineering students specifically for M.tech
- Library facilities are to good and ambience of the Library is also good.
- The teaching faculties are expert in there respective research areas.
Dislikes
- They do not provide intership facilities or they donot allow mtech structures students to do internship in any other company.
- Research facilities are not upto the mark.
- Hostel are not well maintained also mess good quality is too bad
Placement Experience:
For our branch specifically we have 100 % placement the companies like L&T, TCE, SPCL and many more multinational companies visit our college. Wherever in any NIT the avg package for this branch is 6LPA.

- Campus is very good which is very attractive
- Hostel are good which is feeling like family
- Academic section is very good all prof. Are very cooperative
Dislikes
- Mess food are not up to the mark . Mess are not well enough for non veg students
Course Curriculum Overview:
In my course(Structural dynamics & Earthquake Engineering) which very demanding course for industrial development purpose now a days there are several advanced software which we learn in course cariculam which will help us in industry

- Academics is industry oriented and they provide us with a lot of assignments which helps us to get the things done in a real life approach.
- Teachers are more focused on practical approach which leed to learning through PPTs and softwares.
- Library is very good to have a long hours of study and most of the course books are available in the liberary.
Dislikes
- Mess food is not that good and hostel fees is very high.
Placement Experience:
Till now the college have a decent placement record of 100% all the student get placed with maximum core package of 10.5LPA and average package of 6LPA. If one not get placement through college then many faculties have links in different MNCs and with the name of VNIT anyone easily recruits.

Here placement is good in VISVESVARAYA NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY NAGPUR, specially in Applied mechanics department all students placed every year and Civil engineering department is also good in placement

- Academic performance of department is very good. Professor are supportive
- Infrastructure of college is awesome and beautiful
- Various sports activities and facilities for students

Placement Experience:
After the 1st year in 3rd semester you are eligible for placement.
In 3nd semester you are eligible for internship also.
Almost 98% student are placed this year with package 7.5 lac per annum.
Heights package was 14 lpa and lowest was 6 lpa.
All are placed in core company.

- Campus infrastructure is good and green. It facilitates wide range of sports activities as football, basketball, swimming and many more
- Extra curricular activities are also very interesting
- Theoretical as well as practical knowledge of the course
Dislikes
- Ventilation in the classroom is poor, in summer season it becomes very hot.
Course Curriculum Overview:
This course is very interesting as you can learn how a city is planned to work efficiently. The curriculum of the course is also very practical as we have to implement all our learnings from the course in the tasks we are provided.

- Highly knowledgeable faculty, they are in top positions in india in their respective subjects
- very responsive staff is there, campus is very clean
- infrastructure is good, campus is greenery
Dislikes
- some Equipment's are not available in the laboratories
- There is no separate mess for south indians where we eat curries which different from the curries which are eat by north indians
- Except Phd scholors no one should enter the college after 10:30 pm it should be change
Placement Experience:
Im belongs to Applied Mechanics department and structural engineering branch, from last three years my deaprtment have 100 % placement where we placed in coure, and the averga package is around 6 lpa where the companies are majorly from pune mumbai delhi chennai based.

- Nature friendly environment , Only cycling allowed for students (except phd students)
- Lots of activities and functions are held by different branches
Dislikes
- Mess food is below the average so be prepared for it just in case you miss your home food
Placement Experience:
Placements of any NIT is same however applied mechanics department head a 100% placement record this year the highest package of vnit student this year was 36.67 lakh per annum of a student in CSE branch various civil engineering companies like L&T, TCS.
