Likes

Everything was very good teachers are very supportive and helpful and they teach in a good manner and very nicely.
Good in annual technical festival in library range of books always available socialism groups clubs created by students in college sports & extra activities also available for all students to improve study alongwith other activities.
The placement opportunities at my college were quite good, with many students securing job offers from reputable companies through campus placements.

Dislikes

Admission process was very hectic as they were not good management very bad because only thing that they want is more money and students don't care about people bad admission process teaching is very bad
Lots of restriction for our department whenever we want to do something new
The timing of the exams used to in afternoon which made us feel dizzy.

One of the nice college in Mumbai

Likes

The course curriculum is very impressive and promising i like that better than other things
The teaching are well qualified and experienced in there there fields

Dislikes

The teaching style of college lacks comprehensive explanation
The computer labs are for course work is really poor
I don't like the college timetable it have over 40+ hours time spend in a week is really overload

Placement Experience:

Student of our college become eligible for placement in the third year hardly any companies visit every year about two three types of role offered in some companies at our included software support software engineer and some other department it's heads package around 1.5 lakhs per annum and overall only about 12% student prefer looking for a punctuary of compass after completing my degree how would like to find the suitable job in IT field I actually interest

Real Student Review: campus , Life and learning

Likes

supporting faculty : most teachers are knowledgeable and explain topic in a clear and patient manner . if somone does not understand somthing they usually repeat orr extra guide
comfortable Environmental : The atmosphere is respectful and safe espesially for the girl and student behave maturely
Opportunities for participations : The college organize cilturaa program like sports event dance singing

Dislikes

limited placement support : the college does not have very strong placment for student
Labs can be slow some time but during practical examination with full attendencce some pc can lag or take time
since coerce follow Mumbai university syllabus , some topic are more theory based and bit outdated compared to It industry

i would rate the course curriculum as decent and concept foucused but it still has scop for modernization i selected this cource in B.K birla college because the curriculam covers programming languages fundamentals data structure and algorithm database and operating system networking and web development

The course is very affordable and students can avail the scholarships

Dislikes

The boys to girls ratio was very bad only 4 boys and 18 girls in the batch

Course Curriculum Overview:

Teaching methods were good by some professors but one professor taught from ppt only. 2 and half hour for each exam and 60 marks paper all subjective no mcq as such. Practical exam is 150 marks including lab work , journal, viva voce.

MY COLLEGE

Likes

The college have a really nice campus it has a football ground
Crowd the is also right really nice everyone is well educated
The classrooms are very nice also the books are digital and dirty classroom have air conditioner

Dislikes

The college is just a three floors and library is small
For Biotechnology there are only three teachers and it has 11 subject
The college is very far from my home also there are no concession on AC train

making celebrities as competition judges and many events throughout the year
Alergia festival = concerts and stand-up with lots of competitions
good campus with a gym , football ground and basketball ground

Dislikes

classroom benches of mostly classrooms and
AC in some classrooms while others don't have in it
no fixed timetable/ or changes frequently

from second year only the start with internship fairs and in third year they do the job fair very few IT companies were there. i dont know the exact companies which came in the college but TCS and infosys average pacakge for BSC IT was 2-4 LPA placement rate around 40 % i will look for a job after my degree

Nice College

Likes

Faculties and Hod are very helpful whatever problem we have we can share it with them
Our college conduct many seminars and workshop
Many event's happens like traditional day.

Dislikes

Girls and boy ratio is 1:4 which i dislike from my side
I dislike the placement support from placement department
Some teachers are just make ppt and give us to learn answers from that ppt only

Best part of my college is they have cultural environment and we had annual fest, traditional day, we enjoy every events in our college. This events help students to develop their leadership skills, teamwork and confidence

Khalsa college update

Likes

The crowd is okeish not that good not bad tho
Faculty is quite interactive they would engage alot
The students ratio of girls to boys is equal

Dislikes

I hated the campus as its was very short and no fun
No campus placements so once youre done studing theres no assistance
Extra curriculum was boring nothing that would excite

I was keen in understanding and coding hence i opted for Bsc IT The curriculum is quite good as all the important topics related to the fields are covered No improvements required only the placements should be included

Likes

I liked how they renovated the canteen and made it hygienic
Also, the reading hall is big and allows us charging of our devices
I liked the faculty , it helps us in every way possible

Dislikes

I disliked the physics faculty, it doesn't understand need of students
I didn't like the fact that they never show us papers after the results
Also, they must improve the attendance taking way

In my curriculum, I would like to say that they have designed it very well that'll make you ready for a job or particular buisness or anything you want to excel in, I personally think I need no extra courses to find a good job

Yes i liked the infrastructure, very cozy amd in rainy season very cool amd good the trees everything was so good but canteen need to have some hygiene and cleanliness amd water cooler have fungi they need to cleaned
Teaching is also good some teacher are too good . Teaching staff is awesome
Idk about the placement, but they give jobs in range of 10-20k

Dislikes

The water cooler not cleaned , security guards are also too rude
Behavior of general office workers, they don't give anything show us attitude shut the window and they pull work on each other and keep us waiting for long and are very rude to student
If we asks for our original doc for admission they say ee dont know where we'll find we cant go from this window and will shout very rudely

The honest review of KSD's Model college

Likes

Equality between boys and girls both are treated equally , and very helpful staff regards the students
Very good infrastructure of college and campus including IT labs and all
All needs of students gets fulfilled by college and given best study environment for students including best library.

Dislikes

The whole building of college is total 6 floors , every floor has a washroom for girls and boys separated but some of boys washroom on some floors are not maintained cleans and hygiene
Canteen food is not so good it can be upgraded
gymkhana is not well maintained for sitting and playing

Placement Experience:

From 4th sem students are getting into internships in good places after that in 5th-6th sem placements are their from well reputated companies from overall maharashtra . Many companies offering jobs Bsc CS students like TCS , Wipro , DATAMATICS , etc. The highest package in placemet is almost 600000 - 1800000 /- . 99% of students are getting jobs

Mumbai University does not offer a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Aviation but you can apply to other colleges such as Vels Institute of Science, Technology and Advanced Studies (VISTAS) Chennai, University Of Petroleum And Energy Studies (UPES), AIMS Institute, etc.
