Mumbai University Ph.D Computer Science: Fees 2025, Course Duration, Dates, Eligibility

Any postgraduate from a recognized University and PET (must be same as post-graduate subject) or SET (CS &A) or NET (CS &A) or M.Phil (CS/IT).

Admission will be made on the basis of PET conducted by the University of Mumbai and followed by an Interview by the Department. SET (CS &A), NET (CS &A) & M.Phil. (CS/IT) are exempted from PET; they can directly appear for an Interview.

Intake: 

Depending upon the Research Guides Available
(8 students per Professor; 6 students per Associate Professor; 4 students per Assistant Professor)

Note:-

*Examination Fees – Rs. 3080 (1^st year)

*Examination Fees – Rs. 3330 (2^nd year)

Every year 5% increase in exam fees as per VCD

Additional Fees for Other University Students -

• Document Verification: Rs. 400/-
• Eligibility & Enrolment: Rs. 440 (within Maharashtra) or Rs. 540 (Outside Maharashtra) or Rs. 750 (Outside India) 
• Foreign students are required to pay an additional 5 times of Tuition Fees.
• Verification of Mark-sheets Fee (depending upon previous University)
