TMV BBA LLB FAQs
Q1. What is the difference between BBA LLB and BA LLB at TMV?
Ans. BBA LLB combines Business Administration subjects (Management, Finance, Marketing, HR, Economics) with legal education, making it ideal for students targeting corporate law, business law, and commercial litigation. BA LLB combines Arts subjects (Political Science, Sociology, History) with legal education, making it more suitable for students interested in public law, constitutional law, and social justice. BBA LLB fees are slightly higher (Rs. 4,24,000 total) compared to BA LLB (Rs. 4,04,000 total).
Q2. Does TMV's BBA LLB require MH CET Law, or can I get direct admission?
Ans. Admission to BBA LLB at TMV is primarily through MH CET Law (5-year LLB) scores via the Maharashtra CAP process. However, TMV also conducts its own entrance exam for seats not filled through the CAP rounds. Students who have not appeared for MH CET Law can apply for TMV's direct entrance exam, which is typically held in July-August.
Q3. What career opportunities are available after completing BBA LLB from TMV?
Ans. BBA LLB graduates are well-positioned for careers in corporate law firms, as in-house legal counsel in companies, Legal Process Outsourcing (LPO), investment banking (legal advisory), mergers and acquisitions, intellectual property law, and compliance management. The combination of business and legal knowledge makes BBA LLB graduates highly sought after in the corporate sector.
Q4. Is the BBA LLB degree from TMV recognised by the Bar Council of India?
Ans. Yes, TMV's Lokmanya Tilak Law College is recognised by the Bar Council of India (BCI). Graduates of the BBA LLB programme can enrol with the Bar Council of Maharashtra and Goa to practice as advocates in any court in India, as per BCI rules.
